idk about spikes ranking system, but i think (not definite) that on vlr when soniqs moved to NA they moved their stats from the OCE region over so they started off with tons of, whatever the point rank system is called on this site lets just call it RR for the sake of simplicity. Since Soniqs has been paricipating in tons of tournaments with t2 and t3 teams theyve managed to keep this RR in practically the same position since they have been dominating (getting consistantly in top 3) in these tournaments and all the RR they lose from playing against t1's is cancelled out. Not 100% sure with this theory but in my head it makes sense

The reason SEN was so dominant in iceland was because no one really knew how to play against their play style except v1. Even ShahZaM and dapr said that in the newest plat chat episode. In NA they play against each other all the time so thats why the scorelines are generally closer
