For a long time they had very dominant maps in Lotus and Icebox, where they would win pretty much 100% of the time thus meaning they only needed to win one map, which was easy to do with their skill. They no longer have super dominant maps like they did

there are about 4 NA tier 2 teams that could probably compete in T1 and do okay probably not win but they could be competitive. NA has a similar player base as emea however with 5-7 teams of representation as apposed to 11 so there is some over flow of talent.

I think any player who reaches a high enough level will experience hate when they don't continue to play at that level. not saying that Zekken isn't playing good, his team flopped and hateful people can capitalize on that.

Look I know I have an NA flag on, but hear me out. I felt similarly about EMEA fans when NA was losing in 2022 and 2023 and NA was getting dogged on. PS: You guys had been shitting on NA for years, as we had yet to be good in a big esport. Maybe where a bit of the animosity comes from. I thought EMEA fans were arrogant with a superiority complex.
