bro how many times do you have to make a thread like this?
sure Korea is the dominant country in valorant pacific right now but I'm talking in terms of long-term sustainability of the scene as a whole.
How long will India keep cheering for GE if they only have 1 Indian representative each game? How long will Japan keep cheering for DFM if they go full Korean? You may disagree with me but I think its not good for the long term health of the scene for it to be dominated by 1 country.
i agree with you there but are we just gonna let this slip into a downward spiral where korea start overcrowding the pacific scene and with little opportunities for the rest of Pacific and then everyone falls behind.
I can see this happening in the same way where taiwan in the Garena Premier League(basically LCS but for SEA teams) devoured the scene.
yeah sure the league is held in korea but there are a lot of talented people in pacific not just in Korea. I'm sure the orgs can do something about their visas
Dont get me wrong Koreans are some of the best there is when it comes to FPS games but with the news of DFM trying to sign 3 korean players they are essentially a korean team now.
There are a lot of talents in southeast asia specifically with thailand and indonesia i just dont get why every year every team is looking to add more and more koreans to their roster.
Edit: RRQ picked up a Korean player....
bro has a lot of enemies
ok ra na bai. kabalo ko na grabe inyong pagmahay sa RRQ pero unsaon ta man mao man ang gusto sa management na indo/ph mix ang roster nila. laban lang gyud dira mga indonesian fans
Riot is making a comeback for competitive League of Legends here in the Philippines. What do you guys think?

How to fix indo representation for VCT swap RRQ for BOOM
i guess what india needs right now are trailblazers(those who can show success in an area where society is skeptical about its viability). China did this by being great at League, Dota2, and other esports. India cannot just copy China's success step by step, I guess what I'm saying is if India can show great success internationally with mobile games maybe PC gaming can benefit from convincing skeptics that PC gaming can also be a job(although this esports winter is not letting up anytime soon) that people can strive for.
i dont really think they should kick meteor, sure he was not up to par during regular season but the flashes of brilliance that he showed has me convinced that he can be a star player for the team.
^ this. China grew in the age of PCs while India grew in the age of Smartphones and aside from that China is significantly richer in terms of GDP per capita they can afford their own computers
OMG CAN YOU GUYS STOP COMMENTING ON THIS THREAD THIS WAS 3 MONTHS AGO
JessieVash and Yamyam dont make the decisions when it comes to roster changes. its actually the upper management AKA not the filipinos who decide
i think i read somewhere that jremey is from malaybalay not davao
chill lang kayo wala pang confirmation at nag tease naman si jessievash na fake news daw.
riot already turned off other orgs when they didn't pick them for franchising it isn't a lot different than what would happen with option 2. And to your 2nd argument I would tweak option 2 a bit and let them pick an org that was already participating in the VCL like G2 TSM etc.
#2 is the best solution. if riot doesn't do anything they would face MASSIVE backlash and other orgs wouldn't want to invest in tier 2 anymore.
it would have been so easy if the spot was granted to the players and NOT the org. There is a fix for this, just let the players play as an FA team or at least let them change orgs its not that hard and the 2024 season is still far.
this whole system riot has developed is shit. it killed so many talents in the scene
if the organization fell apart the players should be able to play as an FA team. there is still so much time left until the start of the 2024 season I'm sure if riot we're willing to make it work they would have done so.
the slots should have been given to the players and not the org. the injustice for the guard players is insane.
i dont really follow the JP tier 2 scene. is Izu and joxjo good?
bro said sword art online lmao
dont worry they outsource their animation to the Philippines. they wont go broke anytime soon
"wHy DoEs ChInA HaVe 3 sLoTs? wHy DonT tHeY QuAlifY ThRouGh PaCifIc LcQ"

best paying jobs in the philippines right now are BPO jobs
Accounting
IT/Computer Engineering/Computer Science
Any Course that teaches Graphic designing, Video Editing, Animation etc.(although you can learn these without going to college)
English Courses like Literature and that kind of stuff
A non-BPO job that pays well would be any courses that would get you a job in Seafaring like Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Marine Transportation etc.
Special Mention to Electronics Engineering
honestly are NA fans actually gonna watch sentinels if they have 3-4 foreign players?
