I love fnatic and all, but yeah lock in was not a significant tournament at all and Loud should have won, people say that Fnatic were so amazing in 2023 because they won 2 trophies and were the best european team, but i feel like they inflate how significant winning lock in was

Exactly, i think that crashies victor and marved can sort of help Ethan get better because they know what a goated IGL looks like, and they are so good at communicating and their synergy is getting a lot better so i think mid rounding wont be a problem, but yeah I think they will rely on timeouts sometimes to get their strats back in place mid game unless Ethan does really learn how to IGL really well

I think FNS is a better IGL, but not a better player, Marved Victor and Crashies are all back in peak 2022/early 2023 form and they are not dissapointing, demon1 is really looking good on flex roles again and Ethan is still putting up pretty solid numbers even for an IGL

I think this current NRG roster has a POTENTIAL higher peak than 2022 OpTic (except for IGL)
Currently their record against eachother is 5-5, I believe they will never lose to LOUD again

Yeah they definitely had a lot of time to fix roles and it seems like they might continue to expand demon1 agent pool so he can be more versatile like the rest of his teammates

i think they just dont have the best chemistry to make a superteam, i think they shouldve brought in more south american talent, it is very much proven that when you have a team that all speak the same language fluently they will have better performance as a team

It isnt brim smokes though, they last significantly less time and are a lot easier to push into, im saying they could work on agressive teams, but not very effectively on a lot of maps
They cant work as an omen replacement, as "good" as they are, smokes take 30 seconds to recharge, limited range, and last less than omen, i doubt they will find a place in pro play ever because they just dont fill a CONTROLLER role as well as astra, brim, or omen
I feel like people are exaggerating Fnatics loss, they are not good right now but they arent instantly shit all of a sudden because they arent adapting to the new meta, they are a good team that needs to figure out what theyre doing so they can have a shot at getting to shanghai/champs. It really seems like they are just not planning things out as well and not actually trying to reinvent themselves for the better.
