cs wasnt having 20 tech pauses a day at any point, they did it better with 2015 equipment than riot does with todays tech hahaha
yes it did, also its a completely different situation nw,when cs was 3 years old esports wasn't nearly as developed as it is now, events didnt have 10 tech pauses a match and shit observing
if its the same elevated stage with the round tables riot is fucking stupid
nah i enjoy watching tier 3 fpl players with supreme fundamentals rely n abilities and easy mechanics
many esports have had way more impressive crowds at the same age, it really doesn't need "decades of history"
this joke is so dead, how do people just make threads like this and get enjoyment out of it i will never understand
depends on how they do the quals, also this will take place in 2025 lol, things will be totally different then
there wont be no eg in tier 1 events anymore if they cant qual, thats the thing
yeah, its sad val became this cringe zoomer tiktok community, but tbh it was expected
there's no way people are still basing their opinions based on singular scrim results thinking its a strong indicator t hw the team will perform
probably weighs more than all of EMEA too
bro i already agree with u why do u keep responding,i admit i got nothing i was just lying,cs is really small in china imo,i just didn't think
yeah i just saw the data u sent me,i couldn't even argue against it,u are right
yeah,it will actually get worse with cs2 most likely
sure,ur actually right i have NO PROOF.NONE! lol
do u understand the English language, cs is not even close to dead in china and it def wont get worse with cs2
ur madd,i have never gambled in cs,and i dnt even play cs anymore, just watch some games here and there
but im ngl gambling skins sounds a lot smarter than paying 20 dollars for a skin everyone has and u cant even refund or sell it
for me its the opposite on val i feel like aiming is a lot easier, in cs if i dont play for a while my muscle memory is s fucked up and i cant hit shit but in Val its a lot more effortless to 1 tap and aim in general
val frog detected opinion rejectedππ got disproven in ur own argument and now ur coping
because ur delusional and wrong?? Why would i not argue about something i know im right about "mF iS DeFenDinG ThAt TrAsH gAmE likE YoUr liFe dEpEnDs oN iT" just admit u were wrong instead of coping with these weak roast attempts delusional val frog ππ
rio major 3 matches peaking easily over a million with higher average viewership, Antwerp peaking at 2.1m& five most watches matches peaking over a million with higher average viewership, blast major peaking at 1.5m yeah okayπππ and Val has 3 tournaments a year while cs has 2 majors in a year and both f them performed better than all masters and champs
its understandable since this is vlr
wdym "if that was the case" THAT IS THE CASE
i was literally here before u retard and have 700 posts so how am i a "insecure" cs fan coming here to cry hahaha
that doesn't mean its "dead" in china, it isn't
tf u mean, yes there literally is did u just skip what i said
we will see in the Shanghai major
nice china fakeflag, why do i hear that Chinese say that cs is still massive in china, and no im not taking about skins, theres plenty of Chinese cs fans, especially on twitter i see so many Chinese users
but yes in the rest of asia it is pretty dead
i wouldn't say val is the better game with cs2 coming,it fixes most of the issues that made cs shittier,if they just do a better casual rank system and add more updates cs2 can def continue competing with val,but its valve so who knows
lmao still today,2022 cs easily had a higher viewership compared to Val, and val should have the advantage too because its only 3 events a year so every event feels like a mini major and is way more hyped, but events like cologne and katowice still peaked higher than 2022 Reykjavik and Copenhagen and even events like blast premier spring finals had almost the same viewership as Copenhagen
u would be surprised, cs events have averaged way bigger viewership's on average compared to masters or champs which are supposedly watched by the whole word
is that why emea has the lowest viewership out of all the regions, what happened in masters Copenhagen?
They could barely sell out the small crowd for the first ever Val lan and the crowd was like half way empty for most of the time
there is no "val scene" in like 90% of eu,sure people play the game but it is not "popular" by any margin like people being fans f the game and engaged in the Val "community"
and about 4 of them care abut valorant lol
idk what ur point is lol,im just saying that middle east and tokyo is emea playerbase too
wdym, middle east has Bahrain and even tokyo is included in EMEA servers
u get a certain budget t buy a team f players competing in the same event and the better those players perform the more points they get u,the team who gets the most points wins and gets a real price for example hltv gives out knives and gloves for events and if u have the best performing teams in a season from all events u win 5k usd for first pace,2k for 2nd and 1k for 3rd
doesn't seem accurate to me if this other stat is counted the same way
this is from 2 years ago:https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/pe445a/stats_approximate_number_of_ranked_players_in/
there is no way that NA has decined by almost 500k and eu by almost million lol,r maybe there's just more accounts not tracked or something
tf are YOU talking about, do u not know what fantasy league is
u are making 0 sense rn
im pretty sure in this time brazil and latam considering the games success there have grown way faster compared to EMEA, i am not taking about the playerbase exclusively im taking about the overall popularity of the game past just playing it casually,cs still vacuums most of the people who are actually invested in esports etc, while most other regions are fully invested in val because their cs scenes are dead etc
and all 3 of those together are way smaller than americas, cis is all abut cs and so is most of eu,only turkey, france, spain somewhat care abut this game
wtf does the amount of borders or money have to do with anything, its about popularity, valorant as a Esport is not even popular in EU excluding a couple countries like france, spain and turkey
as he said "unsurprising when they combined 2.5 tp heavy regions"
brazil, latam and NA pro scenes combined is like 3 times bigger than EMEA
dw it will be even worse for the next 4 months

all ~1m$ cs events in 2023,and on top of that major stickers generate abut 70m a year to orgs and players
val players really hype up having 3 events a year and managing to make the prizepool higher than 1m hahaha
(also dont forget there's plenty 200-500k events too)
the bum of valorant just cant stop disappointing with the shittiest takes ever
