Strict parents, most of them time, are usually good for the longer run, improving skills such as focusing, or hard work. Yes, you may not be able to go out as much but you will most likely never talk or see them after high school as life goes on since people come and go. But make sure they’re not controlling your life completely or harassing you which can lead to depression(happened to me) or even worse. Just try to see it from their perspective sometimes.
