demon1 was more tier 3, he was unsigned and just played with pug teams in small tournaments. tuyz and cauanzin were in tier 2 teams, and what i mean by that is signed teams that played in challengers but never qualified for any events or even got close

Not really, there’s a clear aim diff between the best players of the game and tier 2 players. Also, individual game sense is a huge factor in what can make a player elite, just look at a player like c0m. He fits well into EG’s system but also makes a ton of big brain individual plays as well.
