Unpopular opinion: this masters format is actually the best one yet. I think the fact that you get to skip groups is a little stupid but it’s balanced out by the double elimination. If there’s anything playoffs have shown us, it’s that double elimination is way better for playoffs. The two elimination bracket teams left both lost in the quarterfinals, and they would have been out if not for the format.

FPX would be a contender for the win but I don't think they would dominate
