FNC and loud were roughly evenly matched, and NRG and LOUD were also pretty evenly matched. But FNC destroyed NAVI.

because NAVI got swept by a team that is evenly matched with LOUD, and LOUD was about evenly matched with NRG. Therefore I believe NRG is a better team

“Loud players were shaky” isn’t an excuse, maybe if it was their first series, but no it was their third series. Also, their new players had the two biggest clutches on map 3 to send them to overtime and win a key round in overtime.

They were the closest non-playoff team to beating a grand finalist, it would be a crime to not list NRG higher than the other top 8 teams

ok but to be fair XSET did really improve when he joined them. they went from a bottom top 10 team in NA to a top 4 team and then Cryo joining made them #2

what do yall think about dephh? obviously so far he has been very underwhelming but personally I think we should give him another chance before replacing. He is proven to have greatly improved XSET. If he is still underperforming come the Americas regular season then SEN should start looking for a replacement

It’s hard to tell whether or not NRG or Fnatic is better right now, we will have to see how playoffs go before we know confidently

And if it was a seeded bracket there’s a solid chance it would be the exact same teams

Every single top 8 team had at least 3 players that played together last year and stayed together as a core.

This is fair honestly maybe I’m putting too much on just one map performance for them

1. NRG (obviously)
2. EG (looks solidly prepped and did well against TLN, could have won if not for careless mistakes)
3. C9 (smashed paper rex, took a map off drx, individually skilled but lacks in mental)
4. 100T (struggling against mid tier teams, EDG is good but 100T mostly rely on individual skill)
5. SEN (it’s hard to tell just how good they are right now because we only saw one series against an absolutely insane team on paper, but their team play looked awful, all rounds won based on hero plays from pancada/tenz)

I think the NA teams have some real potential and I doubt many roster changes should be in order quite yet, but it’s not looking good so far. Then again, it’s the first tournament so the americas league will give us a better look at the real rankings of these teams.

Maybe they get bought out, but the team synergy makes it seem like they want to stick together and qualify together, so I’d bet they stay together
