Proves how this match is yay vs DRX lmao
I think it depends on how good yay plays, he can single handedly turn the tables if he pops off
Hopefully zeta can perform well this masters and Japan will get 2 slots for champions, then we might be able to see seoldam on lan
Is zeta going against the losers of g2 vs loud? or drx vs optic
Liquid looked really strong against loud on haven, they'll probably take this map
nahnah I'm not downplaying zeta, just saying the shorty strat had a great impact on their win
I swear it's that one day off after playing for 4 days straight
they played for 4 days straight and finally got a day off yesterday, came back strong
buzz came from c9 korea, mako was from OW I believe
I don't necessarily see his play as a "mistake", he tried avoiding the 1v1 gunfight and waited for surf to fake defuse the spike and stunned him for an easy kill. High risk high return play.
If those guys are professionals they probably know what they're doing, he got the round regardless
I'm not saying that mechanics isn't important in this game, it surely is a big factor and teams with an explosive fragger can be in an advantageous position. I said this game isn't all about mechanics, all teams need setplays to have themselves in a better position to win the round
100%. If they end up going against each other it'll surely be a good match to watch, we can also see NIP's true performance against teams without any disadvantages
You're delusional if you really think that this game is solely based on mechanics. There's a reason that teams constantly study strats, watch vods, or even have coaches.
I doubt they'll play well with 5 duelists or 5 initiators xD
This game isn't all about aim and mechanics. Teams won't get far without teamwork and setplays, and that requires a significant amount of time spent on practicing with their initially planned roster.
It's understandable why fnatic isn't playing well, they have 2 stand-ins with almost no time to practice setplays, teamwork, etc. But let's be real, NIP is really impressive despite fnatic's disadvantages
You never know, anything could happen in this tournament especially after seeing the past matches
He dropped 22 kills (match mvp) when his team lost 12-5
He dropped 22 kills (match mvp) when his team lost 12-5
It is true that teams will have less consistency especially when they have to adapt to different servers with different ping. Wouldn't call it a fluke but playing online definitely plays a big role in their overall performance. But you never know, they might be strong against some teams and weak against others, or they might've had a good/bad day. Can't deduce their skill level just by looking at one match
NTH looking really solid so far. Only dropped a single match against FS, looked really strong against F4Q as well. I expected either Nuturn or DK to win this LCQ, but after watching NTH play it's anyone's game.
Compared to other regions, SA simply does not have enough high skilled teams and players. Ofc riot wants regions with better skilled teams to have an opportunity to shine, unfortunate for GE, but thats just how it is.
Sucks to be them, but SA is definitely not a major region to be deserved a slot to masters. They may be good as a team, but thats just the harsh truth.
I dont want them to wait one year for lcq, riot does lol. Go complain to them about the slots they deserve, but from what they’ve shown us, they are simply not the top 16 in the world.
According to you, every team that has put up a good match against the teams that qualified for Berlin automatically deserves a spot in masters. Unfortunately, not all 100+ teams can qualify there.
No way that Haven is nuturn’s best map. Ascent might be, but Haven is more like their worst map. Even on iceland they lost all of their Haven gamesq
He's not really 'roleplaying' D3ffo, after masters Berlin they realised the importance of a Jett & op on their team, it's much better for the team in the long run.
