True, they just straight up not good enough for tier 2
Speaks volume to get as far as round 16 of open quals as the champions of the world with an almost flawless run?
Speaks volume of how big the gap between tier 2 and GC is.
Winthrop is not tier 2, tier 4 or 3 at best.
Tier 2 is mxs, m80, oxg...
NA delusions, they lost to a team of randoms playing together called the Basement and you comparing them to a team already in tier 1 and another which every player got into tier 1 π
Liquid is an NA organisation, maybe valorant kids don't know that.
And Winthrop is not even close to tier 2 from any region, they literally lose to breakthru academy
I'm not even from EU π€£π€£
But saying a random collegiate team is better than T2 EU to defend SR is crazy
Who are these lowly immortals that gc champ is losing toπ
Losing to collegiate teams is crazy πππππππ€£π€£ππππ€£πππ€£π
Haven't been following roster moves for a while, what happened to them? Who's rumored to join them?
Don't you think the overtime system in valorant is a little messed up?
Maybe it works in ranked, but in pro play, deciding the outcome of the game based on 2 rounds is not it, doing something like CS with 4 or 6 rounds is definitely more righteous, and I'm not someone who came from CS and got used to that system, i only started watching CS like a year ago while I'm a valorant fan since 2020.
Yes, boaster always choked without the 4 with him
Boaster> kingg ? LMFAO
Kingg did way more with way less and was the top rated player in many events, botster always choked without a super team, not even close from every aspect
Kingg>>>>> botster
Aspas>>>> botke
C0m = Leo
Roster wise, Lev has the edge
They were 40 hp, you just want the gun to not be able to one shot 40hp close range?
YES! WHY DID LIQUID PICK UP THE TOP RATED DUELIST IN ASCENSION? CLASSIC LULQUIT
If this guy is this good, i get why Sayf wouldn't be the duelist, just hopes he's as consistent as sSayf
He's their most consistent player after Mako and played every agent in the game at a high level.
What you waffling about
Coming from a TL fan, i don't get why are they just running it down this map?
On the first map they were actually trying, but this one it feels like a ranked game, I can't know the actual level of Liquid cuz EDG are not even trying.
Maybe they just wanna go home
"My babushka told me not to brag"
Top G can play every role
Why did i feel like without f0rsaken they become a tier 2 team, the impact he has is crazy.
Not forgetting that they're trolling and subbing a player in and out every map
If they nerf him he's gonna become useless like before, he's not too strong, astra is as good and people proved it many times, brim is situational.
The controllers are in a good state except viper who could need some nerfing but not very necessary
In all the wrong ways
I think yay is the goat, but idk if he's the most influential
nAts never fell off, just bad teams, i remember in champs when he got 34k and lost vs NAVI, he's still him just unlucky teams
Unless they turned like 3 of prx's monitors off that ain't happening
Viper was relevant every tournament this year, people just started playing it with omen instead.
Still, I think harbor is becoming underrated, but we'll see that next year with nrg and loud and people will play him again, unless viper gets massive nerf
I don't like the fact that they didn't play it as much later on, but still good pick
Stax was also part of the team with the best execs and retakes that were way ahead of their times in 2021, so not really biased
I can't find a reason why, since he was just the best aimer back then and that's about it.
I don't mean the best player, but the most influential, he could also be the best but he doesn't have to be.
In my mind it has to be nAts, for that viper setup on A bind attack alone that he came up with more than 2 years ago and it's still meta in 2023/24 and no one could counter it, let alone that he was the first big lurker in valorant, with games like icebox vs G2 where he was always behind their backs, some plays and cypher setups, most teams changed to adapt to this guy and most lurkers have learned a lot from him.
You could add something like cNed, since he was the first big OP player that made people be afraid of ops and make protocols to find that guy.
Someone like FNS who with his calla made teams retake a site when the spike was on the opposite, and was the first IGL with the big fakes and inserting players in positions.
Who's your most influential player and why?
Leo can't play anything other than initiator, shao literally plays every agent he even played jett in vct and was insane
Not for being good, but for playing so many tourneys this off season and keeping it alive π
Is governor really their best duelist?
Like even before when Ban was at knights, I think it was clear that he was better than Gov, you could even argue that Gov is their weakest player.
I obviously have no clue what's happening internally, but from a viewer pov just switch gov and Ban's roles, cuz the difference as duelist/oper is big.
So the move is take viper from the best lurker/viper in CN and give it to someone who has no clue how to play it?
He still plays too agressive for a viper too, just teach the guy to play with the team more, and him lurking on initiator is not always a bad thing, cuz when people see the viper/senti with the team no one expects the initiator to be lurking and it was a big part of their success
