I actually can't take his dry peeking, not doing anything is better than dry peeking in tier 1. If you can't shoot them don't even try, at least use yourself as bait for your team. He has this weird ego where he plays like a tenz or a yay but can never hit a shot.
Haven was such a throw from him as well, do 1 cheese strat, hit 1 headshot, buy a judge or something literally anything at all to close the game out but he just can't do it. The team has such a high ceiling but from the moment dephh doesn't put out numbers they immediately lose 50% of that power

When 98% of your games are negative kd I think youre quite bad, esp for a "tier 1" player

That's highly unlikely cause everyone else puts up numbers. Even tenz is consistently higher in stats than dephh

Every single time I raise my hopes for him he disappoints me again with another 6/20 game and with more dry peeking when he's cornered and doesn't know what to do.
It was so good on pearl, it was... Ok on haven, at least haven wasn't atrocious. Ascent tho... Just the same mistakes they had in the 100T match, same as the Lev match, it was just so poorly played by dephh. He clearly didn't know what to do cause Sen only ever got rounds after timeouts and he also had no clue what to do for pistols.
1 great map (obviously all anti so thats the work of Kaplan and drew NOT dephh, tho I will say he did decently in the mid round, only 2 horrible rounds on atk) 1 mediocre map (minimal dry peeking from dephh, decent midrounding on several rounds, poor on others, too much reliance on individual performance tho) 1 terrible doo doo balls ass map (brutha fr played like ass and on top of that didn't know what to push, when to push, how to push. Didn't read the opponents that well, sadge ass game for the rest of the team).
A highlight tho... At least he's gotten marginally better as a caller and had a very rare decent kd

Dunno about mummay but tigg is far better than both Rossy and dicey. It's the team issues that aren't allowing them to perform. It's sad that a player as good as tigg is getting thrown around between mid ass rosters

I actually can't believe tigg and mummy decided to join knowing full well this team was in shambles. They better be getting paid nice and sweet with an easy way out of the contract

Listen the roles aren't the problem, it's the fact that they're shifting everything over for dephh and he just isn't showing his worth. The fact that 1 mediocre game is enough for us to get hype clearly show how problematic of a player he is. They need to drop him and they need to do it now or they won't even qualify for the playoffs.

Yea I feel like he's gotten enough experience already yet he's still able to make such basic mistakes. His midrounding is his forte, everything else is just middling.
I don't think he can do it but all I can hope for now is that he has some massive improvement in individual performance like angel or improves massively composure while calling and stops micromanaging like boaster.

Exactly, I don't mind the 2-0 loss but what I do hate to see is how bad they still are at pistols and how they just didn't even try on icebox. Their veto as well was abysmal, they tried playing to NRGs weaknesses instead of their own strengths. They really thought nrg wouldn't have improved their lotus from the Lev game and wanted to bank on a free win instead of going with their comfort picks

That's what we thought before lockin and what we thought before this league split. Tbf this split they did improve a decent amount but just seeing their trash veto against nrg and their lack of adaptation even tho they were a map down just really demoralises me in dephhs prospects again. He has some decent showing every 1 map in a while and then sends it straight to the pits right after every single time.

I feel like they really have a chance to make it but their group stage matchups are ridiculous. They have the top 5 Americas teams to go up against in the first 5 matches of their group stage. They have no time to improve and fix their mistakes 1 by 1 cause they're all getting pointed out like this against NRG.
They'll probably make it out but really low on the board and that just makes it harder for them to get to Tokyo. It's a shame seeing them make mistake with basic shit like map veto and not playing to your strengths cause you feel like that shit shouldn't even exist on a "tier 1" team.

No all the top duelists do that, they just get told where to play so they become much more effective tools like derke for example. Dephh doesn't have that knowledge to be telling tenz to play in certain areas so he just pushes and dies. It's about positioning not the playstyle

Even tho I think dephh is trash and doesn't deserve to be a tier 1 player and that he did play a weak ass series against 100t, for his standards it was outstanding. He was a huge part of the reason why Sen won that game. He literally just played for contact pushing into 100t cause he knew they just needed to push for info and get trades since 100t had 0 adaptation and Sen had more firepower.
The issue tho is that any other igl would've been able to just play for adaptation and done better without having to int the way dephh did. So on the one hand what he come up with does the job but it sure as hell isn't something that should be on a tier 1 team

If you're trying to argue that they're an individualistic team then yea they would be so much better with marved in there cause its not like dephh is doing any crazy adaptations that anyone else with basic knowledge of the game isn't able to do

I'm not worried about tenz in the slightest, I'm worried that dephh will be given too many chances to prove his worth that if they eventually realize they can't get to the top with him they won't have enough time to pivot the roster
