Gotta respect the dedication tho
I think it's laz April 2020 back when zeta were still called absolute Jupiter.
Fr? Because if you're right then I might be spreading misinformation ππ
Brother, they had to merge sea to one region just because they can't afford sustaining the scene. And they turn away from hosting a lan on the only subregion that's lucrative to them, what makes you think they're going to hold everything on lan π?( tbh I thought everything is gonna be on lan tooππ)
No it is on lan but only for top 4 which is 27th September till 29th
Apac better be good because they're just going to do lan only for top4π
I'll be there that day, because he just have a new fan right hereπ₯π₯π₯
Ik he is baiting but I won't take the "Japan is talentless" slander, Teams don't invest in academy teams because there are no talent, they invest because there is a potential to do so, and the notion of Japan is talentless were proven to be false again with Fennel and Murash reaching top 4 and Riddle whose Japanese players are all former Zeta AC's managed to win the whole split despite this being their first time being in the split.
why are they tied with the laws? how do you even do that ?
Ok being mentioned in books is crazy( this is textbook right?)
Awful example, south korea literally is esports bro( but don't ask their esports management it's shit in my opinion)
Is the interest with valorant really that low in Ukraine?
Lol riot is gonna contribute to respective countries infrastructure because they gonna have to build them from the ground up unless they get daddy Cisco to do it for them π
I forgot to add shitty connections , small ass desk and a laptop that's barely holding itself together
I mean, building an academy team goes a long way towards building a better scene
Wait till you realize that LANs are only for top4π
Not to mention the orgs are really slow in being proactive.
Ok another hypothetical question, if riot relocated each league to countries that have losser child labor laws means looser age restrictions?
Lol my career's over before it even began I'm at my univ and I'm still silver peaked at plat πππ
Do you realize what you just said π
My whole fear(well it's more like disdain tbh) of imports are based on LCS's and LJL's condition. Hated that shit so much lol.
Ok hypothetically, are you allowed to play in Tier 2 if your are 13?
Is it tier 2 the OP is talking about or tier 1 , because tier 2 has a severe problem in that aspect
Bro will this be the second time gaimin actually fail at TI grand finals π?
Are there any other games with vanguard level of system? ( I'm quite ignorant about it)
Rostermania happens regardless franchising exists or not.. there are many things to point out to riot as to why franchising sucks and this is not one of them.
Ejay and adrnking could not get their visa on time, so they had to play with high ping, but this problem should have never happened if scarz signed good local players instead so they had no one to blame but themselves( context: around this time teams like reject and varrel are disbanding while academy players started to show some results)
Both of them do have japanese citizenship, but let's be real both of them never touched japanese server and once scarz release both of them they will leave japan and not contribute to anything for jp server, at least koreans contribute to the server more than them.. they act more like import than some imports in vcj
Not really, in sp2 there were Murash and fennel who went without any koreans, and achieve 4th and 2nd respectively, it's clearly an improvement from earlier days. This split( split3) some teams opt for just 1 korean while there are 2 or 3 teams that go full japanese. While there are still the "standard" 2 koreans team, it's an improvement in my eyes( maybe I'm just too optimistic). I'm just gonna ignore the disgrace called scarz π
Japan actually creates the most academy teams in t2 worldwide so I'm quite optimistic that the number of imports will be lower next year or 2. Hell, I think the number will be lower on this split
Get a venue , get some scouts , get some good coaches, train them for 1 year and release them for the new generation. And the imports are gone within next year.
Safe to say that the whole DFM except meiy will go.
I think the office in Berlin are for convenience purposes? Idk tho, they seemed to sign more cis players to me I don't think the trajectory will go down.
Fuck, you got me thereπ, unfortunately Navi probably needs to get cis players. Is valorant kinda dead in Ukraine?
Riot's franchising partner are chosen to represent their supposed subregion e.g dfm are supposed to represent japan properly , talon for Thailand prx for mysg etc. But most teams don't do that and riot doesn't enforce that, if you want to implement that rule you should have done that from the start. I hope dfm can represent japan PROPERLY tho.
Not enough I'm afraid that one mistake will cost him the final
Nef0r0 ( seems like a great guy to talk about the scene in general)
Anguibok ( her English might be quite hard to understand at times but her topics are not boring especially in off season)
Mortadelo ( great insights about emea and especially Spanish vcl)
C310 ( this guy has to be a scout for some org lol )
Poh1238( he actually engages with my megathread a lot)
Cloudberry
I'll add more later on
Pacific better have good quality production considering the fact that LANs are only going to be held for top4
But it doesn't make sense to put both japanese representatives onto one group...
I think that's legit the only thing they can do. You can't separate 3 SEA completely, while other region's are just 1 representative so it doesn't matter where you put them.
Also we could potentially see both jp representatives eliminated.
I've just seen the groups holy shit, idk who tf is in charge of the grouping but he should be fired for this.
