I think if anything this is the biggest off season event of all time in valorant draft format isn't that restricve especially in off season when most teams don't have setplays ready . It will show us which teams have best firepower, flexibility nd adaptability. Yess it's little hard to follow due to how many teams and matches will play simultaneously but with stage 2 I believe they will start broadcast for high profile matches .

This year it is from 9 to 11 Jan so kickoff won't happen before 19 Jan

I know atleast in Pacific nd Americas orgs were picked this way but many like GE drifted from it with time. Ultimately it all boils down to who is the most apt replacement in terms of fanbase , finance , structure nd market nd content building capacity. If Riot doesn't think other Thai teams are suitable on those criteria they may be forced to go with other orgs they are definitely considering it . But whatever happens it would just be for one year bcz things are changing after that nd tbh pacific has too many countries to represent everyone no matter how hard you try .

yess it balances it out China is a unique problem bcz it's not a region but a single country which makes any import an outsider , I have been a firm believer of letting VCT China have 2 imports simply bcz they already have a whole league to themselves and don't have enough talent at the moment to back it up and be competitive so letting them have 2 imports allows them to improve while giving chances to players who generally dont get chance due to lack of slots in other leagues despite being good.
But unfortunately I dont think Riot will go that way due to pushback from Chinese people who are already pushing to create Chinese speaking teams

A tier 2 teams needs to have 3 players from one particular country to play in VCL which limits their playerpool lot more than a VCT team which can have anyone from whole region. No Team is going to qualify to international playoffs nd then replace their whole team so your argument makes no sense of anything it's tier 2 teams at disadvantage

Played so well that tournament that people wanted him in VCT but then he went to Naos to keep playing in Ph nd on nd off didn't go well whole year . Ended up without team when MLT picked him up to return to India then got scammed by MLT tried to IGL didn't work out went back to PH with new VLT PH roster played well for them but then VLT dropped them to go back to India since then at oasis been playing well

Oasis chose the easiest path to APAC predator league by picking DLSU but I don't blame them Tesseract continues to reign supreme this tournament.
Also great run from Collegiate team if Tomix was in form they could have done some serious damage

I am glad GE went with Casper nd Meow16k this time unlike last year where they brought the absolute best in an attempt to win this .

I won't really count this match at all looks like they had connection issues their main duelist and definitely the guy who convinced luvboss guy to play for this team Kifas(he has played as import in India quals multiple times in past) didnt play this match plus they had to forfeit one match .

It will debut a new format where agents played in first map of bo3 cant be played again on the next map that's the other unique thing about this tournament.
And it is named blender and is also unique bcz it is most open tournament in Valoran't history bringing back pre-franchise/probably future 2027 type VCT strcuture too where an open qualifier across all of emea took place for phase 1 having 1024 teams and as it goes through phases bigger teams keep joining with VCT teams joining in phase 3 from where it will become BO3 and phase 4 will be a LAN event and final phase . I think live broadcast should happen from phase2/3 .

just try azys and georggy man both are lft too what are all these trials , Secret have first hand been destroyed by these 2 in past sometimes I feel bad for Azys , autumn was second best player in VCL SA in 2023 he went to FPX and is one of the best players in VCT China , Dos9 was second best in VCL SA 2024 went to Boom and now KC considered one of the best controller but the guy who was the best player both year for some reason never gets picked up bcz his options mainly are GE and Secret with how stacked duelists in other pacific teams are and they both simply cant take a good decision.
