Paradox applied but Ge just didn't call him up for trials for some reason.
Open trials doesn't mean all 400 who applied were allowed to play and Ge management watched them . GE management shortlisted some 80 players from all applications and only they were watched with some barely getting 2-3 maps to prove themselves

Indian scene isn't cooked it's just GE and their shenanigans.
They invited very few players , radiant was criteria and rucifix prob cleared it(it helps that he is a friendly guy nd has friends in industry) . For instance Paradox wasn't called up who was best Indian rep in ascension this year , Mogo boys except Deathmaker didn't try and they are the best team in India .
So yeah trial happened on Sg server putting Indians at disadvantage against other Apac pros so it was so so trial.
Anyways DM and Techno made it to round 2 rest were eliminated in round 1.
Lightningfast joined later in close trials and none were selected that's it

Scrims been really promising I would say .
They play EDG on 24th Nov I believe that would be a good match and we will get to see true potential of GE

posted 3 weeks ago

Just wait till 18th nov guys you will see him playing either OG/Mogo in a bo5 that day if nothing changes

posted 3 weeks ago

Like how do people not get a simple point that if you Nd other common people can't abuse it bcz it has a very high skill ceiling it doesn't make an agent any less busted just that it can only be exploited by a smaller population but those who can completely ruin the game for whole opp team in server

posted 3 weeks ago

yess and against a different team only GE plays evryone rest all play just once against GE

posted 3 weeks ago

18 to 24 nov six days bo5 back 2 back

posted 3 weeks ago

Yet he was there in trials bro imagine the quality of Indian trials if he is one of 11 who trialed

posted 3 weeks ago

Grand total of 11 or so with likes of rucifix who no hate but hv struggled in even T3 in India .

posted 3 weeks ago

It's alright their wish , they believe a team without indians has best chance of winning so be it.
But their true intentions would be visible if they don't invite Indian T2 teams for GE vs world showmatch after promising exclusively that event

posted 3 weeks ago

I don't think that's an ideal solution when China has tons of viewership, money nd playerbase which eclipses every other region combined.
But to suggest an alternative I hv been thinking that maybe we can allow 2 imports in VCT China on a temporary basis bcz currently China doesn't have enough talents to have 12 strong T1 teams and this rule will also prevent situations like Kr1stal getting dropped despite winning ascension.
Moreover it will provide a stage for 12 T2 players who are really good but couldn't make it to T1 in their region .
Guys like Zeldris, YesIcan, Alorante are some of the names in that list

posted 3 weeks ago

easily in top 10 highest paid T2 pro outside NA and Japan pros

posted 3 weeks ago

He has done it for years did it in ascension last time just another match for him

posted 3 weeks ago

T2 as in Indian team or is it an event hosted by some other country?

posted 3 weeks ago

Doctorr my goated player and coach gets these W

posted 3 weeks ago

Bruh goldenblue is making bronze like whiffs clearly nervous for this stage

posted 3 weeks ago

Hopefully Former VCL India star Frostmind got this , he was great in predator league main event last year

posted 4 weeks ago

Yep neon diff just like always

posted 4 weeks ago

I hv said before will say again brightest young talent of India is Levi just that he is inconsistent but that will also improve with time since he is always improving something or the other

posted 4 weeks ago

M80 triple senti comp is very good against Mogo so OG should win but I am afraid Azys will hv busted Neon and that may prove to be the difference

posted 4 weeks ago

10 straight rounds for Mogo , comp diff ig

posted 4 weeks ago

He is little off today man chill, also it's team playstyle issue even Azys was struggling with Jett on ascent for a time so Mogo thought it is more of Rawfiul not using Kayo well hence they switched roles bcz initially Rawfiul played duelist on all maps and Azys was flex in this team

posted 4 weeks ago

I think this ascent showed everything that is wrong with Mogo's playstyle- A setplay execute heavy playstyle is a direct counter to them bcz MOGo doesn't commit completely to PRX style nor GEng style of valorant.
Rawfiul kept dashing and didnt get anything on attack not bcz he was off or missing his shots but bcz his team didnt set him up even once for entry and he was always blinded , tagged or paranoid. The exact same happened on pearl in ascension I remember and people will look at stats and go the duelist guy didnt play well when in reality MOGO expects their duelist to just take 1v1 on aim and when other team doesnt give it to them then its just GGs like today

posted 4 weeks ago

whole OG team with exception of Hellf is young ig , Mogo has Levi who is young in true sense

posted 4 weeks ago

What happened to primmie last map 11% HS 2-7 on fk that's so unlike someone who is great at aiming ?

posted 4 weeks ago

If you are looking to uk OG's odds are more promising , ideally the difference between 2 teams shouldn't be that big

posted 4 weeks ago

Finally it's happening 2 contrasting playstyles
The OG veterans vs the newgen's first face off .
Gonna be a banger either way .

posted 4 weeks ago

I don't think they got these 5 players just for off-season, I am sure they will stick with this line-up.
But yeah in case if Mogo beats them repeatedly then they might be tempted to get top-tier import or 2 to win in India

posted 4 weeks ago

Skrossi is retiring??

posted 4 weeks ago

Sometimes something clicks like sens or a skin or a setup uk and player becomes good

posted 4 weeks ago

Bro starts with why Primmie shouldn't be judged rn bcz we haven't seen enough of him before casually going on to state he 'owns' everyone's fav pro in 1v1 despite him not being seen owning any pro in 1v1 except governor

posted 4 weeks ago

Let's Go Mogo time for another finals ...

posted 4 weeks ago

Yep it's a team game but Venka and Techno haven't even been close to him this tournament in taking people down with timing and aim

posted 1 month ago

Wat looks good again and Makaveli is on different level in this tournament though it's only been 3 maps

posted 1 month ago

Always has been the day he performs in ascension he would get picked for VCT

posted 1 month ago

Wouldn't change a thing anymore xd

posted 1 month ago

Yep R1sen was the igl afaik Nd with a new IGL it's always going to be hard against OG
Though I won't call them the best in India atm until they can beat Mogo eSports bcz they are ultimate raid boss of Indian T2

posted 1 month ago

I have been waiting for this matchup since Ast faced Mogo boys, 2 contrasting playing styles , 2 of the most promising young Indian squads.

posted 1 month ago

Has coached some good T2 teams and produced bit of results.
But is largely known for being AC for Lev at champs this year .
He is unproven in T1 level of competition bcz none of his teams have ever qualified for that but if Lev and Ge are trusting him back to back I am sure he has some good ideas

posted 1 month ago

I don't get why Penta would do an exact replica of split 3 again as on off-season event??
Could hv delayed it a bit and invited GE turning it into GE vs SA event or could have tied up with others to make it an Indian qualifier for convergence or predator league .

Here's the clip for you just watch carefully you will see the knife attempt and throw, that day I could whether to laugh or get frustrated lol

Vaild points all here but that just shows how unstable Indian T2 is or T2 is in general. Also I sincerely believe they can go toe to toe and we peaked here last year in predator league which is basically ascension of off-season-
https://www.vlr.gg/team/14418/no-salary-peek
btw they would hv won against secret but they had that troller excali in team and at 11-9 lead assuming they had secured 12th round as it was 1v3 he and Antidote tried to knife borkum and lost the round and then the match.....

A friendly reminder Venka is yet to qualify for anything international and Techno was behind DM in only Int tourney he played i.e. convergence. Our comparison was for top Indian players so why would I bring up Ascension especially when Techno and Venka haven't even played in that for fair comparison. But yess they are young but so were Rawfiul and Karm1l same 19 y/o when they came in 2021 and look where have they reached yet but that's the thing no DM is now 27 and is still going toe to toe so I atleast overlook age as long as player is good. Venka nd Techno peeked at split 2 and that's the main tournament hence the hype but that was my point there are around 10 good players none exceptional and all equal in capability with minor differences.

posted 1 month ago

Again all of them tried initially and when they didn't they all went heavy trying to build a star roster which can go INT. I can answer this better but I would need to research a bit bcz I am not very knowledgeable about EMEA T2 .
I knew you would name these 2 and that's what I wanted to point out bhai it's recency bias , these 2 have been around for 2+ years now and have only started playing well literally from split 1 this year. Nobody even took their names at this time last year and you can check off season stats from last year they are nowhere in even Top 10. On top of that Venka retires. every 2 months and has low work ethic. The actual consistent guys are Deathmaker , Rawfiul, Hoax , Karm1l who have been topping the charts since 2021 with an off tourney here and there. If you dont trust me watch these stats-

A core generally means any 2/3 players who have been there at every iteration of a particular team maintaining a continuity and hence help define a team identity.
This site provides a unique 3 letter tag to every team which keep a bare minimum of 3 players from their previous roster going into their new roster.
An example from Indian scene is this team currently with Mogo which has been tagged #WLD for past 3 years now- When you click matches tab you can select a core here .

Gentlem8 gave them a season to try and prove themselves and didn't dismiss the whole french scene through tweets like " french players will hurt comptetive integrity" and on videos without giving them even a split to prove themselves.
Also they are changing roster this season bcz riot's new system of relegation has forced them to try and outperform Apeks , a situation GE doesn't have to face thankfully bcz they are permanent representation of "Indian" scene in T1.
Also just curios which 2 players are you referring to who have been consistently performing in challengers ??
