It's literally all CIS players I think you need to keep that in mind with NOVO I may be biased bcz ANQ used to play in India in past and was a top player here too but I think with more time and good coaching NOVO will become best team in VCL Spain they already have biggest round diff of all teams when they lose its generally close overtime but when they win they completely streamroll the opponents

Do it if you are passionate not everything has to be acknowledged. I got proper writing offers last year but I never had time turned them down since I can't commit but I have been writing about VCL South Asia in my free time for free bcz I am passionate about both writing and my VCL.

really great so far from GE happy for them hopefully they can go and have success in internationals so they get back their fanbase and establish some identity . Great bunch of players this year they are all individually very talented and hardworking and they also have a great coach.

I didn't actually that's the very reason he found a spot and lots of other prospects listed here didn't but like if you look overall he was never top 3 but for his specific role and profile he was no. 1 and a great ascension tournament immediately landed him the spot.

posted 1 month ago

See it's tricky bcz it keeps changiing due to recency bias so when I make my personal opinion I value consistency a lot more and those players generally succeed a lot more but like general consensus at the start of the year in SEA had Patmen rated very highly and even Killua had lot of hype behind him and both got picked in between the season. Xavi's teammate PTC has generally been rated higher than him over the years and it was after ascension performance that Xavi was considered best in the team over PTC. Another Thai guy seph1ronth was rated higher whole year as was Nakya and obviously Wayne. If you add India I would say Damaraa was rated higher too as a replica of Dambi's neon.
And in my personal opinion other than general consensus I rate Aplycs and Azys very very high I do think they can dominate in VCT both tick all the boxes of great players even if due to missing ascension for couple of years both have much less hype behind them.

posted 1 month ago

nah not really but Wayne was like the best player in SEA whole of last year so on current form he was definitely the number 1 choice out and out . Xavi8k is great but he has never been rated top 3 prospect despite that while Splash was clear no. 1 duelist in all of SEA when he got picked and so was Wayne as player this year. Both Xavi and Splash have started great so we can expect same from Wayne tbh.

that ult wasn't even hitting him he still cancelled it and even if you were about to die last round there was no other way to win

posted 1 month ago

well when you believe that what can I even say then maybe see how much viper he has even played before joining fnc ?

posted 1 month ago

chill out man he is a great duelist who can play initiator and sentinel he is not at all a controller player Fnatic doesn't want to disturb Alfa Crashies and kaajak's role so on some maps there's bit of struggle

A third wild Russian Import is about to hit VCT China shortly

yess lots of great PH players Secret for some reason can't scout properly and when they do sometimes then can't make them play properly at all

Lots of niche answers here but like an actual full time duelist igl who is also insane plays in Turkey Eternal Fire's Izzy puts up insane numbers while entrying and IGLing at the same time

may genuinely have done it but I think he is back home in Russia nowadays did play this off season for Gamax for bit now looks like not playing again he doesnt really play much anymore

It feels like if Furia does well Koala's personality will get Furia and him support and fame from global community and I will love it

posted 1 month ago

there's no need to stand with anyone what Invy did was morally wrong but it's a private matter and he shouldn't be punished or cut from the team by PRX or Riot over it . But you are also trying to justify him cheating and using it to justify your own cheating which is very shitty brother if you cheated on someone that's not justifiable and good and no you weren't a good person who did that at the very least if you dont want to be with someone you can tell them that much and break up before going to anyone else there's absolutely no need to scar someone's heart and destroy the ability to trust for life for any reason whatsever

posted 1 month ago

There's a chance but we will need past 2 matches fragging IGL Artzin, utlimate Clutch god Eeiu , NA's highest potential T2 duelist version of Alym and won't miss a shot World's best Sniper variant of Koala .

Riot games is subsidiary of parent company Tencent who are one of the biggest company in China. Valorant in itself is a billion dollar valued game . Tencent made profit of 70 billion dollars last financial quarter and is a company valued at 500 billion dollars so this is nothing for them . Riot themselves made profit of around 1.5 billion USD last year.

A lot that's to VCT teams nothing to anyone else . There have been some which have managed to save some part of stipend at the end of the year.
If you want real number every VCT team gets 1.5 million dollars as stipend plus half of their own bundle sales money and major chunk from Champs bundle money(champs one only for teams that make it to champs)

Exactly it's just the structure he is the main character here furia literally plays around him nd play to set him up a lot nd it turns out he is one of the guy who needs to be trusted nd given the main responsibility to play to his potential Navi didn't value him as much .
You can see Furia believes him when he says he has one of the best Op in the world nd they let him go nd show himself

posted 1 month ago

Seriously as long as they keep winning nobody is getting cut but if the time comes yess unfortunately Nerve will end up getting benched but I can tell you rn his replacement will be Zander or other M80 guys for sure.

posted 1 month ago

I mean they said so but looking at numbers nd aim I feel like artzin is going insane for a solo IGL maybe Nerve nd Koala are actively involved too .
Bcz Honestly furia has played musical chairs with IGL in off season they made the team with Koala as igl in mind then switched to Nerve nd right before VCT shaw said Artzin is best for igling now it's him

Give me my ghost gaming flair back rn this is Koala in Ghost gaming form I need to root for them even harder

No arguments there other than the fact that it was early morning for me xd

posted 1 month ago

They will face koala on jett even more deadly with snipers he looks in top 3 in the world with Op Koala from ghost gaming form Sentinels might fold

posted 1 month ago

NOVO wakes up throws one map from winning position steamrolls the opponents on the other map and then they rinse and repeat this every matchday lol

posted 1 month ago

well imagine having over half the lobby at match point nobody can then team up lol

posted 1 month ago

well yess I stopped playing long back and game is slowly dying with active players going down but for now the Esports scene there is still blooming infact actually getting little more hype every year so maybe game can survive few more years . And I loved bloodhound and his scanning was very meta character in initial years of Apex almost every team used to run it Ranked or Pro play.

posted 1 month ago

obviously they did infact Falcons finished 3rd that match last player of hotdog was alive when falcons fell he was only shooting at Falcon players not Fnatic. That's the thing with match point system if the opponents know you are the only who can win it right here then they team up and they were able to identify which one is Falcons due to the unique comp that Falcon runs on that map.

Infact even in last match that Obvilibion won both SN and Hotdogs knew which team is oblivion bcz only Monsoon runs the charge rifle as primary weapon in pro play at that level .

posted 1 month ago

150K usd is his I dont think he is homeless hasnt been for 5 years anyways since he got signed as pro played for flyquest and Complexity both big orgs

posted 1 month ago

That Fnatic vs Falcons I was so worried it will finish this early but Falcons completely botched it against Caustic

posted 1 month ago

I watched it obviously was cheering for S8ul boys but once they were eliminated Monsoon has been my fav for years now I was all in for OBV and They did it I was celebrating too

posted 1 month ago

Probably the most fun E-sports to follow Monsoon ,Funfps and Bliknz just won Apex legends version of Valorant Champs as Free agent team taking home 600k USD. Thought will share with you all bcz its a heartwarming story of one pro Monsoon who had to set up his PC in Tacobell at one point of time in his life to play and today he finally becomes the world champion in 5th year of his career.

What a debut from Koala for Furia 60 bomb on 3 different roles long live ghost gaming

posted 1 month ago

Again everyone has a job nd I am telling you rn in this meta he will OP clutch he is one of the best sniper player in Val . Watch him play chamber next 2 maps too nd that's his role contact to kill he is doing it perfectly Furia is somehow still losing rounds with too much rigid execution

posted 1 month ago

Nd again clutches with great shots

posted 1 month ago

What are these comments even he is clearly the best player on server rn nd had like 2 exit frags in total look at how he deleted infiltrator with a nasty flick just 2 rounds back he is doing pretty well even if not absolutely dominating

posted 1 month ago

Just relax man as I said yesterday Alym is having stage issues this isn't his actual level let's hope he finds his footing soonn we get to see actual Alym bcz that will actually make Furia a good team .
Edit - that ace may just make it happen lol

posted 1 month ago

If Keznit plays like he played against EG then Nope. Zekken and Aspas are too consistent Envy will get rolled over. But if both Keznit and Eggster play at their best and go pound to pound with dynamic duo of Mibr I would say depending on maps they will have a good chance atleast but tbh I will lean 80-20 in favor of MIBR as of now .

posted 1 month ago

Keznit vs Dgzin to start this really is battle of underrated stars

posted 1 month ago

chill man this Furia is pretty decent they won't lose to a team formed a day before match . They got Eeiu he is a great player , they have nice supports in Artzin and Nerve. And their duelist when he switches it on he used to clearly become best duelist in VCL NA even if he doesnt start hot at some point in season you will see Alym takeover maps . And well everyone knows you will see Koala on Chamber and he may or may not be good with rifles at VCT level he is still good with Snipers.

Simply the structure and coaching difference if you are looking for real answer. Just having 5 crazy shooters will get you very far in Tier 2 bcz there isn't that extensive coaching staff or system to anti you , come up with insane counters or you know completely outplay you. Games are generally decided on who shoots better which is what people generally mean by 'superteams' anyways they are all crazy number putting players. Secondly Tier 1 teams can afford to have all the best players so even if one team is termed superteam the gap between them and others isnt that drastic they are all top players too and with better understanding of maps , better chemistry etc can easily take you down. The same isn't true in Tier 2 half of them aren't even paid so they can't do anything but try and play like ranked ; and if you have a superteam chances are you are only superteam in your sub-region others dont have money to raise another equal to you . Realistically the only way superteam fails in Tier 2 is if they have serious chemistry issues or a bunch of 5 randoms come who are even crazier shooters or there's a top coach with competent players who can cook just enough to take your superteam by surprise when it will matter the most.

posted 1 month ago

I have no doubt it will despite no separate league and visa issues CIS is still one of the most dominant region in Valorant no other region would have survived this fate and now with them opening these leagues up orgs like NOVO will be inclined to sign all CIS region squads bcz they on aim can win it all . I am confident if NOVO's roster succeeds we will see even more orgs following this model .
