This isn't a new and inexperienced team. Their only rookie is oxy, jakee(ig too, but not really) and they've had so much time(about 3/4 offseason tournies) just to be outrageously mediocre.

No doubt that they look pretty good now if they continue with their roster moves but I feel like them not getting recognition for their champions run makes sense. They kinda got fucked by every team they played apart from T1, whom they beat twice to make it out of groups. Like you can say the argument that they played good teams but it wasn't close.
when the peak playing age is like 18-25 and that's when NS generally happens then it makes sense why a lot of singaporean talent is taken away.
