Thats it. That seals the deal. Im no longer a v1 fan. I’ve been a fan since before masters 2 and a virgin1 since birth. I will no longer watch them play nor renew my tier 3 sub to Zellsussy. I’m taking my fanhood to 100T where they actually know how to run a team. I accept suggestions as to what team support next

I think its their own personal decision. There are plenty of places where one can hold a crowded event, as many companies even smaller than riot have done. Either they don't feel ready to hande it yet, they don't have enough money located into the live events, they don't want to for moral reasons or something like that

what were your parents thinking when they named you SaltyMcNulty

I think it'd be a waste if riot still doesn't want to do crowded events. I do agree that the first LAN with crowds should be in Japan

yeah but also champs is going to be sooner, so hopefully there are third party events at the end of the year

solo omen seems like a gg wp to me

maybe if he was in a team that actually played well. He's still one of the best individually in the game tho.

posted about 2 years ago

he still took them there? you're judging trent on something that we can't judge other individuals on because they can't even get there to begin with. He's been amazing on challengers and that's the only thing we can compare with other players that weren't on masters

posted about 2 years ago

bruh, trent was literally the last signing. They were playing with psalm before and they were mediocre. Trent joined and they became the best team in NA. Sure, it's a group effort, but trent's value is unmatched. Your judgement of sean's value is completely speculative on them "showing potential". Trent's value is proven on the fact that they won NA's challengers stage 1. I didn't say seangares didn't make the team, I saud he didn't do it by himself, you're just repeating what I said. You're saying that trent is a part of the team, but so is seangares, that point makes no sense

the only reason we aren't seeing these "upsets" in emea is because we don't have closed qualifiers lmao. The opens at the beggining of the year were a shit show.

The website is good enough, doubt they would spend the money on that

posted about 2 years ago

It's not a contradiction at all, its just a dumb bait take that you fell for lol

posted about 2 years ago

Bro Im so tired of these shahzam bait threads, I doubt hes going to interact on this site again, theres just no point

posted about 2 years ago

But yo do realize that after signing trent, the guard became the best team in north america, meanwhile 100t couldnt get out their first qualifier. By that logic any coach (juv3nile for example) would be a better pick up since they actually qualified. Also, sean didnt pick the team by himself, they hired ddk as team manager to do that. Is he the best signing then?

I think shahz is a good up and coming tier 2 igl

Bruh every team is a bunch of tier 2 pros from other game

It makes the org popular. It helps selling merch. It helps sealing sponsor deals. It gets the org's matches views up. It creates them a dedicated fanbase. It helps to make succesful content online (youtube, etc.)

posted about 2 years ago

so you're saying they haven't been able to learn their new roles after a whole year passed, having won a masters in that time

posted about 2 years ago

I guess thats true, I just assume the contract is probably in the longer side of things (maybe 2-3+ years). It’d be kinda dumb to pay such a high buyout if you werent planning on signing the player long term imo.

I knew it

posted about 2 years ago

If he ends up leaving then I guess the question would be for how much, I can very well imagine him being more valuable now as an asset than last year, so they might even make a return on their investment just on the transaction price. But then again, I don't think any org could by tenz right now anyways

posted about 2 years ago

but he makes it back through his fame and partnerships... The only negative I see about the deal is that it inflated the NA market a lot, especially for sentinels, if the rumors about the coaches buyouts are true

https://youtu.be/unrfpUD7gXo?t=230 I guess this counts? Valorant LVP Rising Finale in Barcelona. Don't know if there ws any prior to this but probably
Mid November of last year

ye I know, just exaggerating a bit, it's been rough out here...

ye I know v1 fell off but it has nothing to do with what I said

posted about 2 years ago

I'm comparing seangares and trent because they're both pick ups that happened this year, and you claimed seangares was the best pick up this year.
Also, I still don't see why people assume the progress seangares achieves with 100t is going to be the same as the progress mce achieved with the guard. They're two different coaches, with different players in very different situations.

posted about 2 years ago

what does that have to do with anything lol

posted about 2 years ago

If you want to set the guard as example, then surely you would acknowledge that trent is a far superior signing than seangares. Also, you can't just decide that 100t are destined to be as good as the guard just because they have some paralels of being ex-tier2 players and a coach. It's not a formula for guaranteed success. People act like if every team just does what the guard does is destined to the same things. It's a good start but there's no reason to assume that 100t is the new guard all of a sudden

Bro they havent even qualified to the closed yet stop reaching

There was a crowded lan event in spain aswell, and I imagine in other countries too.

posted about 2 years ago

No one because any org with the money to buy him probably has sponsor with logitech, razor or other brands that would be in conflict with tenz’s deal with xtrfy. He would have to give up a lot of money. (Unless the other org is partnered with xtrfy, then I have no clue)

Its ironic seeing everyone on this thread agree with him and then go and post “ratzam laugh thread” like 5 seconds later but ok ig
