Yes but he won't come close to top 5 for the rest of the year

posted about a year ago

He's not better than any of the Vit players

I feel bad for the guy aaaaaaarhhh

Needs to be on a T1 team asap

  1. Sentinels will have a hard time trying to make Shangai (They will for sure make playoffs but I see NRG topping their group so they will have to win a couple of series to make Shangai which could be tricky)
  2. Gen.G will own Pacific and easily top their group and will only have to win 1 series in playoffs to make Shangai so they are a lock.
  3. Same story as Gen.G
  4. Loud same story as Sentinels but with Lev (if they don't implode) instead of NRG so I could genuinely see a Loud v Sen match for the last spot at Shangai.
  5. KC will also have a difficult road to make Shangai (I see Fnatic/Vitality topping their group so they will have to win a couple of series to make Shangai and I think it will be too hard and they don't make it to Shangai)
  6. EDG will top their group and make grand finals at least so they are a lock for Shangai since China is too easy for them.
  7. Team Heretics might struggle early on (Fnatic and Vitality first two games but if they manage to beat one of those 2 teams they will top their group and only need 1 win in playoffs to make Shangai and I see them making it there.)
  8. I think FPX will win Stage 1 in China and possibly win a series in Shangai backed by the home crowd.

None of the EG players are frauds
They're the most talented team NA has ever produced (not one bad player in that roster)

Asian team
EMEA team not named Fnatic
underdog team from Americas

  1. Sentinels
  2. Gen.G (would be 1 but they choked)
  3. Paper Rex
  4. Heretics
  5. NRG
  6. Loud
  7. KC
  8. Fnatic
  9. EDG
  10. Navi

Ethan for sure ain't no flex when he acutally played the least amount of roles on his own team.

Chronicle is actually a flex player on his team since he fills in the gaps while his teammates only play 1 role but yeah i do get the argument but overall he's played a lot of different roles and agents throughout his career.

Optic at 10 could actually be factual tbh
Aren't they the only teams that losy 2 series at the tournament they won? Yes Fpx did as well but with a sub and then didn't lose with Suygetsu.

Also weaker field
Basically only the 3rd and 4th best team of EMEA at the tournament

posted about a year ago

They ain't hungry anymore

Not making an international event might wake up them up

Champions is the only thing they really have their eyes on tho they will be the favorites to win champs no matter what

posted about a year ago
  1. Fnatic if they actually tryhard
  2. TH if they can find similar synergy with Wo0t
  3. Vitality will come out swinging
  4. KC kinda peaked already (I hope not)
5-6. FUT/Navi will make the playoffs and challenge for the international spots

The rest

S+ tier: Fnatic Tokyo, Champions Loud (almost flawless runs and flawless teams)
S tier: Berlin Gambit, Champions EG, Lock/in Fnatic, Reykjavik Optic, FPX Copenhagen (all of them were sort of beatable at the tournament but turned up when it mattered most and lock/in tax puts Fnatic down)
A tier: Acend Champions, Sen Reykjavik (Gambit should've probably won and first tournament tax)

(Can't rate Madrid Sen right now since I don't know how good the field actually was)

posted about a year ago

Nah Masters Tokyo Fnatic got disrespected and Masters Berlin Gambit got straight up violated

posted about a year ago

Bro knows Sen has peaked already

posted about a year ago

Saadhak is doing all of the cooking anyways make him the coach xd
But yeah the man is still way too good at the game to consider coaching

https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/466/valorant-champions-tour-stage-3-masters-berlin
2nd best rated player at Masters Berlin behind Yay

2023 yeah his champs was awful but easily still a top 10 player in 2024

posted about a year ago

both KC and Sen

posted about a year ago

Bro got off smokes this year but Riot dragged his ass back to the role

posted about a year ago

Bro obviously only watched Loud games and let that be the only games Fnatic lost

jk

posted about a year ago

Yeah they needed to 3-0 or 3-1 since they were never gonna win map 5 due to pressure

posted about a year ago

Bruh what?

Chronicle and Nats were easily top 2 in 21'

posted about a year ago

Bro wth he has 2 masters trophies as well

posted about a year ago

I mean they were still a top 3 team so now they will for sure make Shangai

posted about a year ago

Such a bs argument man
nAts and Chronicle were not top 2 in Gambit they were top 2 in the whole world.
Chronicle dropped 73 kills in 3 maps in the grand finals at Masters Berlin (the most underrated performance ever)
Same for 2024 all 3 of them were all top 5 players in the world

Who is in the GOAT debate then?
Less and Aspas can't be in the GOAT debate since they were both carrying each other (see how dumb you look?) and Sacy definitely isn't for sure

posted about a year ago

I just don't see it happening

Better rosters have failed at winning multiple titles (Gambit, Optic and Loud)

Sen will be the team to beat from now and and you best believe teams like NRG and Fnatic are gonna come for their ass

posted about a year ago

Nah they're not winning another trophy this year

The competition is just too stacked and too hungry now

posted about a year ago

You can yap as much as you want but Lock-in will actually be remembered more than most Masters events

A lot was different but it was still a T1 international tournament organized by Riot

It also gave us the best and most memorable series in VCT history

Yes there were a lot of mid teams at the tournament but the amount of actual banger teams was still the same (The best Asian teams remained unchanged in PRX and DRX, The best Americas teams still had their core 3 in Optic, Loud and Lev and EMEA had the FPX and Fnatic core so it was even footing).

Chronicle disrespect is so annoying tbh

3 international titles
2 different teams
got cucked in 2022
Hardest role in the team

2nd best rated player at masters Berlin which they won
4th best rated players at champs 2021 (2nd place)
1.11 rating (300+ rounds) at lock-in which they won
3rd best rated at masters tokyo which they won
Lowest placement at an international tournament was 4th at champs in which he underperformed for the first time in his career

False narrative that he got carried in his title wins

2022 Marved for sure (Crashies underrated as well), Ardiis/Zyppan deserve a shout as well

2023 Jingg for sure (he was the most impactful PRX player by far and they had a very good year overall)

posted about a year ago

I still don't see them doing better than NRG and Sentinels but they can outperform G2 and C9 for sure no?

Then in playoffs anything can happen if their shooters shoot

They've got some a lot of real shooters now

Legit think they're only going to be hungry for the one thing they haven't won yet which is Champions but you know maybe not making an international event might wake up that fire again

posted about a year ago

saw their vid today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR48b6ZDQNw

Yeah these guys just aren't hungry anymore it feels like

Just some colleagues playing the game as a job (and Elma ain't really helping)

They deffo need a vibe merchant that's not the IGL suffering during the game

posted about a year ago

4/7 wins now
Fnatic lost (only 1 map ban back then)
Optic won
FPX won
Optic lost
EG lost
EG won
Sen won

Basically Pacific should come from the lower bracket if they ever wanna win a tournament lol (they can't deal with the pressure of being the favorites)

posted about a year ago

Yeah facts but one thing that remains true is that single-elimination to qualify for a major event ain't it and it should never ever happen again

posted about a year ago

Yeah since it had double-elim unlike kick-off

  1. FNATIC Lock-in - Masters Tokyo (undeniable dominance)
  2. Gambit Masters Berlin - Champions
  3. OPTIC/Loud 2022 (consistency/ups and downs)
  4. SENTINELS start of 2021
  5. EG masters Tokyo - Champions

Paper Rex honorable mention as the uncrowned kings ❤️

Nah if you go by titles it's still Chronicle

Man was just a couple of rounds away from winning champs as well

posted about a year ago

Is it fair to say that EU could possibly become the dominant region in a few years when most pro players are actually just Valorant players with no CS background?

posted about a year ago

Definitely not
It's still an FPS game and Europe dominates those games
I think we will already see the resurgence of EU in the coming future (Shangai and Champs)
