I disagree there are massive tier 2 systems in place, there are tons of players killing to try out and make it to vct and while yeah revenue clout it is by FAR more valuable for orgs to win and perform; think of karmine corp at the beginning of the year and how massive that clout and hype train was.

A lot of the edg boys even if they move off teams have good international experience so I don’t doubt it

Maybe this is a little too obvious, but I feel like china is gonna emerge as one of the better regions with consistently high international placements. I feel like in the next two or three years we could see china winning its first international, with a vet roster like edg, or a newer squad. Is this too optimistic? I feel like the chinese are insane mechanically and don’t need too much more to develop amazing strats.
