1. They can't dock pay unless it's explicitly stated in their contract, they are most likely rejecting offers so other teams finalize their roster, which means the players will have no where to go but resign on cheaper deals because they will be released if they don't.
2. There is no problem running "budget" teams as long as they don't hire players and release them before the season. Right now esports is about survival not making people happy.
3. Most benched players would be anyways released since there is no requirement for a 6th man and the org would rather not pay them.

You don't know if a player is good enough until they are given an opportunity to play.

Had the same problem, 7700xt should be a tad bit cheaper, but of course the 4070 is more power efficient, better in raytracing Yada Yada. If u truly want to get the most price to performance in my region the 7800xt is about the same price as the 4070 and its vram difference is pretty huge. Of course pricing depends on region.

Trades salaries are pretty self-explanatory, fewer people want to become tradies because of the bad stigma around them, demand stays the same or increases, prices go up. Engineering jobs do pay well but idk how they compare with the trades. A shit ton of accounting graduates so their positions become a lot more competitive. Why would companies pay a high salary when there's a new graduate whos willing to take a lower salary.
