Another thing I failed to add here, I play in the MESL Faceit league for CSGO.
I am Faceit level 7 (i am like 10 elo away from level 8) as of right now and my peak in CSGO was Level 8.
I peaked Radiant in valorant around 4 months ago in the same Middle Eastern region. The difference I noted between the lower and upper ranks of CS and Valorant was immense, there was hardly much of a difference going up from Diamond (only more teamplay and a couple of more lineups) while in CS, the playstyles, aim, strats everything changed. (Reminder that MESL does not allow 5 stacks to queue together, only a max of 3 can play together in MESL and you get 2 randoms).
You're the only one who presented something i'd call logical because everyone else here is just arguing and shittalking lol.
The point is there is less competition in Valorant as of right now, once you see more of the EU and the valorant only breeded players, all these frauds will be out of business lmao

The way valorant plays out nowadays, its just weak strats with people depending highly on aim and movement (which is easier than CS). Obviously with the development of time, these CS frauds will be put out of business lmao.

Stew was a major winner in 2018. He was so washed up recently dude managed a 0.85 rating with EG's lineup which consisted of pretty decent players with 2 other major winners in auti and rush. He's pretty washed up mate, not a fair argument considering y0y was in his peek in CS and never managed to get out of t3 in cs and is a t1 pro and arguably the best player to touch valorant yet.
Exactly, the skill that the valorant players in t1 have is what the boys in t2/t3 possess in CS.
Take an example here, compare your best valorant player, y0y with Deko from 1WIN in CSGO. He's a tier 2 player who plays AWP for them and you'll see how better Deko is even if he's a t2 player than y0y.
Tarik major winner was a part of EG's lineup when he stepped down from it to continue his streaming career and it was mainly valorant streams and not to mention he was below mid towards the ending of his CSGO career.
The basis of both games are the same, they both are FPS games. Obviously there are differences in strats and yes your argument about different required skills makes sense but fast forward a couple of years and if you see more CS pros in valorant, they'll dominate it too lol
