I mean KOI already exists and the viewers will not just randomly increase because of franchising.
The problem is a lot of fan-favorite orgs will not get invited because of riot bias and, with only 10 teams, a lot of good players will be left out.
It will also be harder for up-and-coming players to boost their careers and they might start to lose interest. We have regional leagues to promote new players but the competition will be stricter because of the limited number of spots.
Barely anyone here likes the idea of franchising, so riot is certainly not doing it for the fans and viewers.
I feel bad for the fans of the uninvited teams and the players who will get kicked out of the scene.
I understand franchises are good for riot and the orgs invited, but for the viewers and community, in general, it is so bad.

I agree, people who say "watching a one team win everything is boring" are just coping.
Astralis and LG/SK eras had probably the most interesting CS events, everyone wanted to see how far would it go and which team would eventually end it.
I want to see a team dominate, the game would be way more interesting to watch.

Coming from a CS fan, I feel like he is playing valorant like it's CS. I want to see more run/jump and gunning. He also needs to play with more confidence, kinda hard with everyone shitting on him after every game.

Acend have been underwhelming, they have good fire power but no strats.
Liquid and G2 have been horrible just as I predicted (inconsistent momentum-based teams)
