not a bust, he just isnt at the god level as other duelists, and is a bit more selfless as a player

i also think they were never gonna use foxy9 over zest in international matches anyways, they just wanted him to get playing time/experience

talent pool is small, and women have never really had much infrastructure and support to grow in a male dominated scene so they are behind.

the top gc talents have tier 1 mechanics, but they dont have tier 1/2 teamplay. for teams like v1/g2, if they play in non-gc stuff they could potentially become formidable tier 2 teams, but it would take a while.

also football isnt really embedded into american culture at all, i lived in the US for 4 years and a lot of outside activities i did were pickup basketball. i rarely ever saw anyone play football just for fun

they would do better if they advocated youth to actually play football but the money isnt there in football as compared to basketball and american football
