honestly Gen G. just dropped their sova player right? they might
fair enough tbh I cam into this with the opinion they should be separated but now I think that it should remain
They each have one team that is better than Eu teams all the others went straight out except forze
only if acend don't win a single series and SMB and G2 have to lose in the quarters as well or they will get 325 points so more than liquid and even if gambit win liquid will not auto qualify
so 1 slot for CIS 1 for TR + like 3 for EU?
How many slots would you give them then if masters was 24 teams how many would EMEA get?
If masters get bigger next year should EMEA as a whole get more slots or should the CIS TR and EU be separated and given individual slots?
Everyone is talking about adding the regions that only get access to LCQ for next years circuit but why does no one mention MENA even though they have a slot in the EMEA LCQ?
Mine goes Favorite EU > favorite NA > EU > EMEA > Underdogs > NA
UK time cuz we finally have an fps scene where we have enough good players:
IGL: Boaster (Fnatic)
Smokes: Mistic (Fnatic)
Sova: Br0die (Tenstar)
Sentinel: L1nk (Liquid)
Duelist/Sky: Soulcas (Liquid)
Coach: Sliggy (Liquid)
Only Issue is UK lacks duelists and not sure what boaster would actually play.
I made a thread called bigger masters/champions which suggest possible slot distributions for 24 or 32 teams masters/champions if anyone is interested would love feedback
he does a podcast called plat chat valorant, honestly worth a watch if you are interested in that kind of thing.
Any EMEA team + 100t
Also Heretics is 8th yet they have a brand new roster if they change more than 2 players in one go or something they should lose all of it as they are not the 8th best team with this roster
I feel like the top 3 EU can all take on everyone but Sen and whilst the 2nd TR and CIS teams will be weaker they will still be as good if not better than JP SEA and SA
yer I also think it allows regions currently with only access to LCQ's to get involved more
What do you think the regional distribution of a bigger masters event should be:
24 teams:
3 EU
3 NA
2 CIS
2 TR
1 OCE
2 KR
2 JP
2 SEA
2 CH
2 BR
1 LATAM
1 SA
1 MENA
For champions take away 1 JP slot for APAC LCQ, 1 EU slot for EMEA LCQ, 1 NA slot for NA LCQ, 1 BR slot for South America LCQ and 1 CH spot for Master 3 winner
or 32 teams:
4 EU
5 NA
3 CIS
3 TR
1 OCE
4 KR
2 JP
3 SEA
2 CH
3 BR
2 LATAM
1 SA
1 MENA
For Champions take away 1 KR slot for APAC LCQ, take away 1 EU slot for EMEA LCQ, 1 NA slot for NA LCQ, 1 BR slot for South America LCQ and 1 SEA slot for Masters 3 winner
Thoughts?
edit: added slot changes for champions
edit: just to clarify CH is china and SA is south asia
