Yeah personally, i think no duelist is probably the best comp in my comment because the chokes arent as tight on this map, just like icebox. I would say double initiator double smokes no duelist would probably be the strongest comp. But idk im not an analyst or coach. Also i can see a double sentinel comp too with no duelist (around kj and chamber too).

Essentially this comp relies on viper playing as a sentinel around A. Her wall can shut down full pushes around mid to a splits, whilst on offense it can easily put up walls for b/a lurks. And at best viper can set up walls for b long counter op angles on offense, while brim can act as main smoker.

I think pearl will benefit from brim/viper or astra/viper whilst you would probably want a fade and someone that can flash, get good info around mid, so skye. I also think just skye can probably work since sova isnt as good and skye can clear mid alone.
Im thinking
Brim
Viper
Skye
Fade/chamber (if you want to run single initiator)
Chamber/raze/jett/neon

Wait until derke misses one shot with chamber op. Vlr will be full of FRAUDNATIC LUL.

I mean they said theyre gonna constantly release agents untill they’re happy with the number of agents every act. I personally think 2 more and they should stop releasing them so often.

They announced half crowd, geddes said it probably gon change bc theres no covid restrictions in denmark soon.

They bootcamp, so when they lose they lose together!

Yeah idc abt anything cuz at the end of the day hes talking to stew abt international competition. Most teams in the entire world are braindead compared to the top in the world. Him saying that only optic xset and probably c9 are smart is pretty accurate to the NA scene. I wouldnt say any vrl teams are particularly smart, hell i wouldnt say some teams like Bbg/navi/g2 have a particularly smart playstyle. So i really didnt care, its just fun reading the shit takes that wardell fans do.

Im not saying he called everyone shit, im saying people are saying he has the right to because they think hes the best in the world. Idc abt the drama, but scroll down george tweet and u gon see the worst val takes imaginable.

I gotta admit it is fun to see wardell dick eaters trying to say he can say everyone else is shit because his “the best jett/opper in the world” despite wardell doing worse than all of tier 1 in literally every other region.

Nah apac are 2 team region.

Honestly, optic should have gotten a bye straight to grand finals. No other region can fight against na 1 team region.

Personally, i think that faze and nrg have more chances on going very far than xset. Xset is very sound, but nrg literally have 4 on and off heavy hitters that can win games alone. And faze have the big D and the smeag. Its easier for these teams to either bomb out or even win the whole thing.

posted about 2 years ago

100t only lost split to tsm in this whole stage. I definitely think theyre top level at split, and faze were really close matches. Forgot nyfu too

posted about 2 years ago

All good just enjoy the games

posted about 2 years ago

Faze is good at fracture, haven, split, icebox and breeze. Its better than fpx being extremely good at 4 maps then borderline lazy at others.

Im confident in all the teams in most regions. If anything, its important to not underestimate teams bc their runs are “easy”. If that was the case zeta/kru/prx wouñdnt have gotten such high placements. Eg beat optic and eg was beaten by really good teams too. NA is full talent just like the other regions.

Surely going to be a vrl for all the regions that dont have one right?

Definetely agree and i think part of his success was the fact that the shcok picked up the best coach in the league the second season. And overall the shock was a very well managed team, whilst sentinels looks very chaotic rn.

Chamber’s rendezvous also feels like it does more than its intended purpose. Chamber is definitely a sentinel since he is good at holding areas down, the only difference is that he does it proactively. Yet, it also feels like the rendezvous was meant as a reposition as well. They’re hitting site, you get one, tp now u have a new angle. Defensively this makes much more sense than post up for an aggressive op angle and tp out after a shot. It just feels like chamber has a lot of different ways to play with his util, but right now his kit is so much better as this hyper agressive agent that seeks out 1 on 1s.

What i mean was that on overwatch he demonstrated that he was able to grind out the time to become mvp in only a year. The first year he was known as a toxic mechanically gifted player, but over time he was known as a great teammate that was able to demonstrate great flexibility and early understanding of the games changes. This type of thing only happens when a player is able to put in work and grind out with his team.

posted about 2 years ago

Their new style is a cracked chamber player and a crecked neon player. They get proactive on defense, if their players are playing well theyre really tough to beat. Optic is similar but they dont rely on frags and are overall less proactive on defense because fns is so good at visualizing rounds with minimal info.

posted about 2 years ago

Im not sure about that because he went from a good dps in ow to the best in the world in only a year. Guy can definitely put in the work. Its a question of if he does.

posted about 2 years ago

It’ll take time for him to integrate himself, but it doesnt mean he cant perform as well as he used to. Any good player can get back in form just give them time.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah this could work, especially since dapr has been really good at midrounding before. I personally think that either way their biggest problem has currently been preparation. In champions they were well prepared against liquid and they played so much better than they did rn, even if they lost. I dont think their midrounding has ever been an issue, but more of a strong point. Its just the way they start rounds and the lack of idea or image that holds them back. Also chemistry.

posted about 2 years ago

Idk how much time itll take for sinatraa to get reintegrated, also going to be hard to find a flex igl if your idea is to drop kanpeki. Which means sinatraa would have to flex and then they need another igl on initiator. I would probably say poach as he was really good on faze even before signing poised, or even zander and do a role shuffle. That way you can have zander for early rounding and dapr on mid rounding, which is a similar dynamic as what v1 had last stage.

posted about 2 years ago

I’d say bind fade is better since you can use dog and prowler to clear long and hookah and still have another prowler. Also fade is good at anchoring showers and long, whilst sova struggles on defense in bind. Its why sova has a low pick and win rate on bind rn.

posted about 2 years ago

I would prob move ascend to 2 or 3, bc i think gambit has been more consistent. Also think that if ace and gambit in champions played 10 times gambit wouldve probably beat them 6 out of 10 times.

posted about 2 years ago

Its nice to know he loyal to his org, he geniunely loves em. But im not sure if other big orgs were even going to take him. After all hes been accused of SA, even if he was or wasnt guilty, it would be a pretty big PR hit for any org.

posted about 2 years ago

If they win both games and then like cloud9 go 1-5 and they win the head to head to faze. Both faze and c9 need to go 1-5

Faze players all get sick mid match and sen win by default. Copium.

Keloqz fell off plays horrible in VRL and he did not get along with anyone on the team, which is why they cut him.

posted about 2 years ago

Eg plays well against optic probably the 2nd best team in the group rn even if they lost to c9 while c9 had xeta. So more likely a 2-1
