as a duelist i think sym is better than tex. Tex is a better opper and he demonstrated that in the old chamber meta, but s0m was the jett beforehand because tex just cant play like a playmaker.

gekko is meant to be a default initiator, not good on execute heavy maps unlike fade. He can do what fade does to a lesser degree and he can do it consistently more in a round. Also she cant do the b rush strat or the c strat. The coolest thing is he can do all those things in 1 round back to back.

Fade has not been a meta pick in haven for a long time. 2 bind is coming back next episode with a rework. 3 i said some comp building, notice how fade was good when it was paired with raze because of heavy a main control on haven. Gekko however offers good information when it comes to defaulting, 1 he is good at taking a long control on offense you can throw dizzy straight up to clear the angle and reclaim instantly, 2 he can take garage with wingman and he can work against kj in c with his dizzy. 3 wingman can allow for safe fast rush b plants where everyone can push up. Idk how to build a comp around him but he provides a lot of options in default heavy maps like haven and provides many set plays to happen. Dont sleep on him just bc we havent seen teams really spec into him yet. Navi for the most part is using the meta comp and replacing 1 agent with him.

Shao was best fade because he is insane, but it was after coppenhagen fade was truly used to her biggest potential. When shao was the best fade it was just sova but a few new lineups, but then you had players like derrek with seize brim ult combos and people who had a completely new playstyle with her (dapr with the lurk fade on def, fns with the bot fade) She was also very broken when navi played so no matter what it was going to be good.

I like how shao plays gekko but ange1 is not good on him. Definitely has more potential than navi is bringing out. Also navi is very known for shiny new agent lets play him and not really using it to 100%. Did it with yoru and fade and now with gekko.

Tbh their gekko in lotus wasn’t that bad. I think it can work offense side here. This map is very defaulty so gekko shines in slow rounds. Their ascent pick was awful tho.
