Life is blessed after all. That's why we don't kill a newborn baby, human life has value.
The sense of the world lies outside the world, we can't put the meaning of the world into language. But the fact that we exist, and we protect our existence, is enough to prove that our life is worth living.
And so, we bless the world in meditative silence, and start the day anew.
because of this game sen didn't go to shanghai
regular season matters too
put aspas in and have zekken flex 🗿
As for my position, I think that equality of ideas is a pretty dumb concept. I think dumb ideas shouldn't have a voice, and dangerous and controversial ideas are the ones that are the most important to protect.
Even if said dangerous idea is wrong, it bolsters the TRUTH of preconceived notions, and if it's correct, we take one step closer to the truth.
Censorship is bad for both parties IMO, I think intellectual discourse should always be prioritized because it will always yield some amount of truth.
Unfortunately, equality of ideas is the step that a lot of colleges are taking, I've seen certain lecturers being told not to come, which I think is extremely counterproductive to my pursuit of knowledge.
I'm doing this specifically for youth today, so it seemed appropriate enough.
I'll just use the USA as an example because it's really well known for free speech.
If some homeless man is screaming to get rid of conscription during wartime (which is a big no no), then their speech would actually be protected. However, if some megacorporation starts spewing speech that could seriously cause damage to the nation's army, then it wouldn't be protected.
Speech that has tangible SUBSTANCE to it isn't protected, but some random hobo saying it is.
One more thing, in either case, any "hate speech" that could cause a clear and present danger to individuals will not be allowed in either system.
This is for school, but I guess I'm also curious as to what you guys think
When I refer to "Freedom of speech," I mean the right for anyone to express their own opinion.
When I say "equality of speech," I mean marginalized groups and minorities have their voices heard just as much as the majority opinion. This could be done by disinviting/censoring certain speakers that could oppress minorities in favor of making the AMOUNT of discourse equal for all.
