First of all you are moving goalposts. you claimed acends roster was insane which it was not. You claimed he was not their carry which he was. Those were the first things you mentioned against him.
Regarding Raze... It is a single damn agent. If the entire fate of your team depends on whether one player plays their A tier raze over a guy playing their S tier raze then this is ridiculous. Trexx can play it on double duelist anyway and in the coming Chamber meta Alive will open up the duelist spot a lot too.
So this mean this would only be a problem when 1. no double duelist 2. no Chamber 3. team picks raze on a map over the many other duelists
And even then the extent of the problem is Alive playing a champ he is good at (raze) and trexx playing a champ he is good at (Sova).
You cant seriously tell me that a marginal improvement in a niche scenario is such a big argument against signing a top T2 player?
Alive was by far their highest rated player at ascension at 1.13 which is the 6th best of all ascension players. The next best was musashi at 1.00....
In playoffs Alive was the 3rd best!!!

Let me go first:
Honestly i had a hard time ranking the bottom cuz there just arent straight up washed and garbage teams this year. Even BBL has some strong pieces with Qutioner & Elite but is probably the weakest. KC is the hardest to judge because things are still undecided for most spots. But Kadavra, Marteen and Sh1n can be a strong core. The big issue for them is getting a good igl now. If they can then they could make playoffs for sure.
FUT seems the most stagnant to me. Only a Cned signing could make them keep up with the improving competitors and secure their Champs spot. Heretics look decent but not great. Thanks to them for getting good T2 talent into the scene. Wo0t is the next Alfajer. Riens is really good. But overall more than fighting for the 4th Champs slot at best is quite unlikely.
Not much to say about FNC and Navi.
Giants with a new IGL could be their breakout year. Great great talent. If they dont win something big this year Cloud is gone. I am very sure they will qualify for globals. TL is gonna be up there as well. Mistic was a top 5 player in all of T2. Fantastic performances really. And on smokes there should be no team flashes 🗿. Enzo top 3 T2 IGL. Nats is the goat. Jampi good flex. This roster should be in a big rivalry with Giants and Navi all of next year.
Vitality are the team that is in the pole Position to step up if one of my top 4 stumble. Good young T2 Talent, A top 5 Emea player to lead them and some great coaching staff.
KOI has some fantastic pieces with Trexx/Sheydos but their tiny budget stops them from making that next step towards being a great team. Alive is very good too. But 4th should be their ceiling.
Gentlemates bring in mutliple good players. Only Wailers is a weak point but he was still new to valorant during Ascension he might improve very quickly. Additionally M8s bring a lot of synergy and momentum from their T2 run and should be really strong especially in the early parts of the season. But if they snowball their early advantage well they can make it to Champs.

In Conclusion i gotta say that the top teams only marginally improved or stayed the same but the bottom teams are much much better than last year. Half the league was utter trash. But now most teams down there should show decent performances imo.
Mistic is for sure better tham soulcas. I think this roster will be better.

I can see what u mean with magnum but i think alive is very strong. He was for sure the main reason acend nearly ascended. He was a top 3 duelist in T2

Mate Kadavra is the best player out of those at his current level. Of course wo0t has the craziest ceiling and is the most likely to become the next best player in EU but you are absolutely underrating kadavra with this statement.
He solocarried his team to finish right behind the team that fucking ascended in the french league.

I think Alive is a great pickup. With Magnum it depends on how good his calling is. There is plenty of firepower on this team its okay if he is a bit weaker. He has the expereience thats for sure. I could see it work

Well this is a wrong way of looking at it. Apparently TL players didnt mesh well together so splitting them up makes sense. The only downgrade is losing Sayf but a team is so much more than just 5 individuals. If we were going by that only then EG shouldnt have been even close to winning champs this year.

I think the team is slight upgrade from last year. I believe in elite and qutioner. But many other teams have gotten better too so it will be hard.
Looks like acend is not letting go of their roster and will attempt to win ascension next year.
