I don't see your point, was a great match tho
Reminder to never judge a team or map on the first 4 rounds of a half
Valorant's economy system is so bruh at the start of matches
I can't seem to think of another team who lost to OXG in this tournament... could you tell me?
To get a specific clip, you can use OBS Studio and record a youtube video through a browser source. If you want to download a full video, then just google "YT to mp4", put an adblock on and hope for the best lol.
In terms of editing, Da Vinci Resolve is a great free editing software with loads of tutorials for it on youtube - so I'd start there. Good luck with it!
To be fair The Guard is pretty much the same now as it was back then... they barely existed ðŸ˜
how is it even possible to have 3464 posts on this website
I would rather play Breeze 88 times in a row in ranked than support an L Org like EG
I really wanted to go to the watch party but couldn't make it :(
I'm Commend, you may know me as a youtuber but in reality I am the biggest Guard fan in the UK. I love their players, but of course, the org is dissolving in front of our eyes rip
I need a flair to rep until the Guard players get picked up by another org - make a case for your team! Maybe this will become a video, who knows
thank you dio, i forgot what this website is like for a second
a second of peace
yeah I like my team. is that so hard to understand?
In every single aspect of franchising and considering how Riot were picking the teams, The Guard should've been invited to the Americas League.
CONTENT: The Guard's content is top-notch. Just look at their matchday graphics and YouTube skits/mini-documentaries on the team and players. This type of content makes you love the players and the team so much more than a team like EG, who haven't made any content surrounding or with their main roster. Even the player announcement graphics were abysmal - just look at their twitter. Is a franchise team really producing that as a player announcement?
FINANCIAL BACKING: If you're not already aware, The Guard is owned by Stan Kroenke (Kroenke Sports & Entertainment), who also owns Arsenal FC, the Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Colorado Rapids. There is significant financial backing behind The Guard, so this is not a worry at all when looking to invite them into a franchise league.
FANBASE: Over their fairy-tale run at the start of 2022, The Guard created a respectable fanbase in NA Valorant. Their players went from literal nobodies in the scene to having huge support from every region across the world. Even though their run at Masters Reykjavik wasn't that successful in a competitive sense, it launched them into the international Valorant sphere, in turn generating hype around their players. EG's fans are still yet to be located.
MANAGEMENT: The Guard showed that they could take home-grown NA talent to the top levels of international competition. I mentioned before that they have the money to buy top players in, but decided to go with a route that benefitted competition in NA and allowed it to flourish. EG has done much the same in Valorant (to less competitive success), but in other games such as CS, they have shown their questionable decision-making when it comes to building rosters... which seems to have spilled over into the upcoming franchise league.
I have no problems with EG as an org, and if NA had more slots than 5 I would definitely consider them a strong contender to be invited - but it really is crazy how they got in over The Guard.
who's winning? will tenz be on peak form and fnatic choke again, or will the EU superteam just roll SEN?
I think GE could surprise, but we'll have to see
If they do win vlr might just break with the amount of posts
yep haha
I am too, so many incredible players
Which FIRST-ROUND match at LOCK//IN do you think will be the best, and why?
And are there any matchups you think to be underrated in terms of hype? 🇧🇷
With arguably the two best open qualifier teams (DSG and BreakThru) playing The Guard, who are heavy favourites for the entire tournament, and another OQ team, I think it's too early to judge this

i'm not sure of anything besides furia beating fnatic
pANcada is actually insane, sacy playing well too, good to see them still in great form
I didn't realise how funny this would be, toast + tarik is a legendary duo already
I was a Guard fan in the Americas (and of course will still support them in ascension) but who do I support in the americas franchise league?!?!??? i dont know
which team do you guys think will be better in Sao Paulo??
Are you guys worried about FUT? Or are Divinity just cracked
