If chet is so much better than mini, why does he always steal mini's team comps and strats? Not saying mini is better than chet necessarily, but chet seems to think mini is a great coach

Redgar and Nats have one major each. Sayf has only played one major with a mediocre team and ended up as the highest rated player in the entire tournament, tied with Cryo (who played only two matches vs Sayf's 4). Hope this helps
It's a different kind of 1v1 though
they were 4th in emea this split
Pretty standard tbh, it's not like any EDG player had more than 4
Isn't Ange1 like 70 years old already?
Did Riot decide that FNC would win LOCK//IN or am I missing something here? Where did Riot give EMEA an advantage?
I wouldn't call it underwhelming, they just looked very nervous on both first maps. I mean, none of their players have Tier 1 experience, last year they were still playing in the Turkish Tier 2 league.
The Lotus against EG was, well, mostly Boostio doing unspeakable things to them. The Ascent and Lotus against ASE looked pretty good. I think they have a small chance of beating DRX, but mostly I think this win will help the nerves a lot and if they make champs I think they have good chances of making playoffs.
You know some teams like to pick their weaker half first so they have all the momentum in the second half... Big ego lol
The NA teams have a huge advantage over the SA teams in Ascension because they can scrim the franchise teams.
Lost a couple maps while playing Yoru = fell off
They also lost to fucking Acend and barely made it out of groups before Copenhagen, and it was still good enough to beat Floptic and win masters.
Fr though, their best player has always been Zyppan, that's what every pro player says. Shao is a top 3 initiator alongside Leo and Crashies. Don't need to talk about Suygetsu. And cNed has been playing Yoru for half the split, they're not gonna do that at Tokyo.
NRG is probably a better team than NAVI, but they are way too anti-strat-reliant, and NAVI is by far the least anti-stratable team in the world. If this were the grand final I'd say ez for NRG but as the first game of the tournament NAVI is definitely favoured.
you think other players start practicing after a match? lmao
Doubt zeek will be signed by a franchise team any time soon
Yeah I'm sure the vod reviews on cNed's Yoru will be very useful. After all, Ange1 is known to never troll domestic competitions and then play completely different things internationally
I think it's just impossible to say who's "better" until we see them at masters tbh. Fnatic were clearly hiding strats throughout the split, even in playoffs they didn't change a single team comp or showed anything new (except their fracture).
Loud also didn't show much, but they did show their pretty unique Bind and Fracture comps towards the end. They also did actually win the title though.
I think they both have good chances to win Tokyo, but we'll have to see.
Wasn't nAts the MVP of Masters Berlin?
"WITH ME"? If the team morals were actually good, he would have said "INSIDE ME"...
Yeah not once in Valorant history has a team looked bad on map 1 and then still had a decent series.
Yeah yay's Omen would have cleared
I don't think they've looked untouchable. They've had some close maps and some that looked horrendous for a bit until they stabilised (like being 0-8 down against KOI).
I still think they're the clear tournament favourites, but tbh there are a couple teams that could beat them on a good day.
It's possible in a 2-1 if you lose 0-13 and win 13-5, 13-5
I mean, that was kinda the whole point of the selection system. NRG also had a mid roster before franchising. Same for half the EMEA orgs (KOI, Giants, KC, Heretics, NAVI)
What's the point of inviting orgs like the Guard if their finances are so horrendous that they won't be able to sustain a good team?
They hated him because he told them the truth
Nothing happened really (except for maybe Taco underperforming), and that's exactly the problem. Lev have good ideas and game plans, but zero flexibility, and when their plans don't work they are clueless. It worked well early season, but once other team figured it out, it's very easy to counter.
KRÜ is not as bad as the 0-7 suggests, they've had some close games. Not beating C9 kinda good, but definitely not getting 13-0'd kinda bad either. Definitely been better than mibr lately
#Vfor(FUT's)Victory (please FUT)
The entire Americas league is in the US for five years, I think you'll survive one Tier 2 tournament in Brazil.
Bro worked really hard on those 💀
It's a bit different from Weber and Ze1sh because he actually has some competitive experience and in particular played some matches last year.
Doesn't matter if he brings down team morale to a point where the other players perform worse. Plus he was igling, and if his calls are shit, he still makes the team worse overall.
Without him, the whole team played better.
They say in their tweet that they realise Weber is nowhere near zeek's level as a player, and cite "personality mismatch", so yeah that's as close as it gets to openly admitting it.
keloqz, avova and zeek are just so damn inconsistent. they all have had insane international games, they just can't consistently replicate it.
Speak for yourself. The articles are interesting to some people and the writers don't get paid, showing appreciation is the least we can do.
First region to get 13-0d in franchising let's go
they should probably get ec1s and babyJ, i think that would improve the roster substantially
You got some nerve typing this
Or is it?
He did go 5-2 in the head to head
Potato tomato
The mwzera of game changers
FUT is the perfect example of what you can achieve with maybe not 100% meta comps as long as your players are comfortable on their agents and the team have a clear idea of why the comp works and how to use it.
I mean you can call the players shit all you want but one of them won masters and one won champs, if those aren't achievements then literally nobody in Val has achieved anything.
People made fun of Jack and mCe for saying releasing yay and vanity was about role issues, but the roles do look pretty sensible now (yay would not have played any of the agents jakee and runi played), and the new guys seem to be able to keep up pretty well so far. Even though money was likely still a factor, I think the scouting was good and they did build a solid team.
This might be the battle for the 6th playoffs spot
Ah yes, now of course he's on a much better team, the international trophies will soon be rolling in.
Vitality over BBL and Gen.G over T1 and we're cooking
You ok there bud?
I mean technically Kiles is half Spanish (he definitely had the Spanish and Ukrainian flag on his jersey when he won champs 2021), so you're wrong.
