Who's making the Madrid final then? Come on, make your pred
Sayf was literally the highest rated player of the team at every single event liquid played. He was also the highest rated player (tied with Alfajer) in the EMEA league.
I'm still with you that nAts was the most important player on that roster, but Sayf was definitely good this year.
The problem with Redgar is that even prime Gambit sucked on attack. We didn't notice that as much in Berlin because they got carried by individual performance. Redgar might be a great CT IGL but that's just not enough.
Bro snuck zeddy in like we wouldn't notice 💀
Monyet and Jinggg are very hard to compare, but overall I'd probably call it a sidegrade. They're different players, and Monyet won't do exactly what Jinggg has done for the team, but he will add more versatility, as he has shown this year that he can be an absolute top-tier controller (I mean, his IGN starts with M, right)
This decreases its versatility a little bit, especially the jumping spread, the jumping judge was quite common in pro play. However, if you just hold inside a smoke, or around a tight corner, you will still one shot people, as the damage, and the spread while standing still or crouching, haven't changed.
meh, I don't agree with the decision at all, a fine would have more than done the job, I just don't think a coach could have turned a 39-10 on the last three maps into a win somehow.
also acting like this is EMEA favouritism is silly, there was also the XSET turret situation where a really stupid decision was made against EMEA.
ScreaM is just a good rifler, he's never had exceptional utility on any agent. That's why he was always great on Reyna and Phoenix, because their main job is rifling
SR won two maps against G2 and then got absolutely obliterated on the last 3, this is somehow Riot's fault
Who would they even beat?
Maybe one of the inexperienced rosters (TH, KC) depending on daily form but honestly it wouldn't shock me if they went 0-10.
Bonkar clears these turtle frauds
Going into Berlin SEN fans were acting like they were absolutely unbeatable and would go on a similar run to Reykjavík, but then G2 became the first team to beat them internationally, obviously they were gonna pick on them for that.
Yeah I feel like a lot of the mistakes on Haven are rather fixable and just came down to inexperience with the team comp and stuff (like using the Viper wall to pressure A early and then not having fuel when they hit B, but also not using a cascade into A link). Although Sacy especially just does not seem comfortable at all on the Skye.
Who knows, I think if they stick with an idea and keep working on it, they can be a solid team. Not like tournament winning, but maybe qualify to champs as 4th seed.

First result after searching for "fns you guys are trash" on youtube
Yeah and strawberries are kinda blue
The guy who made champions this year while M80 couldn't even make tier 1 Valorant
Yeah this is by far the best answer in this thread
Have Apeks even signed a new roster yet? It looks like literally all five players are getting signed by partnered teams (Keiko, Enzo, Mistic to TL, Magnum to KC and Shadow to KOI)
I mean the comps fnatic played all year were mostly made by Anderzz and Boaster created the majority of their strats. Not to say that mini did nothing, but as long as Elmapuddy gets along with Boaster I think they'll be fine.
So far all their personnel decisions have been pretty much flawless.
Mini said Boaster creates the majority of the strats, his job is mostly just to tell Boaster that he's going too far (and the scouting of course)
Who is Bonkar? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Bonkar thinks, I agree. If Bonkar speaks, I’m listening. If Bonkar has one fan, it is me. If Bonkar has no fans, I don’t exist.
(He was the IGL for the old fully Swedish Guild roster with Leo, Sayf, Yacine, and Draken, now he's the head coach of Oxygen)
Glad to hear you're doing well brother 🙏🏻

HELLO INDIA (actually no clue)
Mom can we have Jinggg, f0rsaken, and something?
Mom: We have Jinggg, f0rsaken and something at home.
Jinggg, f0rsaken and something at home:
Do you get an ult point back if you kill someone in the ult? I know you don't get points for kills while your Viper's pit is active, or for kills with knives or showstopper.
Reyna doesn't have entry abilities either. Not all duelists are great entries. Yoru is also a bit clunky on the entry and needs supportive utility if you want to tp in.
I meant mostly audience wise. I might be wrong though. I just feel like there's lots of Indian Valorant fans (I mean it's a big country).
The Indian teams can't really give back to the fans by being successful, but Riot could certainly make them feel appreciated by hosting a tournament there, no?
Not Like Brazilian crowds supporting only Brazilian teams
Yeah of course, they don't have any teams to root for 🗿
Seriously though, I wouldn't mind it. The Indian Val scene seems pretty active and there is still potential for development. Would be even better if there was an Indian player at champs, but I don't think that will happen in 2024.
Obviously, I'm just saying maybe three maps, only one of which was an actual close gamae where he individually outperformed the lobby, isn't enough to hype him up like this. I don't doubt he's good at all.
G2 is not beating anyone
He's had one (1) outstanding game on Astra (34-18 in an OT game). Three maps on Astra total, two of which were absolute stomps (13-4 and 13-2) where his entire team did well.
Could it be he was playing on an account that belonged to someone else? Alt accounts are fine(ish) but account sharing between multiple people is a bit more frowned upon.
Redgar has always been a little overrated imo, Gambit were never a great attacking team. Their defense side was amazing, but on attack, they got hard carried by individual skill. When people started figuring out how to counter nAts lurks, and when D3ffo didn't perform online like he did on LAN, they struggled a lot.
And beat them in the grand final match, you know, the match that actually matters?
This is a list of top 10 teams. EDG made top 6 at both masters and champions. What more do you want lol

Most Valorant fans don't even know yay or aspas
What kind of Valorant fans are you talking to lmao
It mentions D3ffo, go figure
Juliana and Mary
Why is that ironic? What does James have to do with accountability?
Like the whole point is it's not about journalistic value, it's literally just about not being an asshole. James isn't an asshole. What do you think accountability means?
1.15 is insanely high lmao.
If we ignore keznit and AAAY (because they only played 2 matches each and thus less than 100 rounds, so the sample size is too small), aspas was 5th in rating at Champions, topped only by Demon1 (1.23), Leo (1.17), Alfajer (1.17) and Less (1.16).
These stats are supposed to show that he's.....bad?? What? Also
Online group stage matches
??????? He's only played on LAN this year
