This matchup is not good for EMEA as if NRG wins it shows that AMERICAS is better or at least on par with EMEA but if LIQUID destroy NRG it makes FNC look less impressive and means they have even less of a chance of beating EG.
As LIQUID who got destroyed by EG had the same results against the teams that FNC played it looks especially bad if LIQUID destroy NRG and EDG beat PRX because it will show that EG’s side of the bracket was harder and LIQUID are most likely on the and same level as FNC if this result happens
