I feel like everyone will be satisfied and understand the rating as long as it isn't outrageous. I get it's very hard to put a player's skill into a number, but it doesn't make sense for players like C0M and Ethan to be rated 69 and 71 respectively, while Jemkin on Rex Regum Qeon has a rating of 91

this, I don't think using TenZ 2021 stats as a metric for his current rating compared to other players is accurate. In 2021 TenZ was clearly above 99% of pro players, this is not the case anymore. Same with yay as well, his OpTic stats with chamber don't show a clear picture of his performance as a player today.
I find both sides annnoying af tbh. In my experience SR haters will just say shit to discredit them and hate just bc they are women, and SR defenders will swear and promise they can do no wrong and that they would shit on bottom of the table T1 teams in Americas. I find both takes dumb af.
To SR haters: No, they aren't bad. The girls are very talented and have improved a lot with GC and they've shown to be competitive outside of GC.
To SR defenders: No, they aren't quite there yet. SR would not shit on middle/bottom of the table Americas teams. The girls firstly need to prove themselves in T2 (which they haven't done yet) and then we can start talking about T1.

Pero si quita un poco la credibilidad cuando aspas y demon1 tienen un rating de 87 y 88 respectivamente, y de repente un man random de un equipo de tabla baja de apac tiene 91. Hay que tener en cuenta en que competiciones consiguieron esas stats. Por ejemplo, tener 20 kills por mapa en tier 2 es mucho mas facil que lograr esas stats en una Masters o Champions por ejemplo.

yeah, a lot of ratings are definitely sus. But from what I've seen I don't think they play that big of a role when it comes to the actual simulations. For example, overall LEV have higher ratings than NRG, but when you simulate those teams NRG tends to win 60% of the time and LEV 40% of the time.

This website can simulate matchups and tournaments from VCT. It includes current teams, players and even rosters from previous years.
For instance, you can simulate current FNATIC vs NRG or even current Sentinels vs Sentinels' squad that won masters in 2021.
