What's even funnier is that even though they do make money from selling food, most of McDonald's revenue comes from real state and charging fees to independent stablishment owners for letting them use their franchise. Only way for this "boycott" to be effective would be for it to be really big in most of their stablished countries for multiple years in order to reduce the amount of people wanting to use their franchise, which isn't happening because, you know, it's fucking McDonalds.
Growing up is realizing boycotts don't really do meaningful shit to big companies. I've seen many get "boycotted" but in the end they are so big that they do just fine and keep selling ton of product
I imagine everything related to international events and playoffs to qualify to them is still the same. I assume we will only get additional games during kickoff at the beginning of the year and regular season
Haven't played Marvel Rivals. How is it if I'm not big on Overwatch? If it has a very similar feeling and gameplay loop I would probably try it and get bored after a couple days
Compared to 2024 Season how many more games will we have in 2025 PER region (i.e. kickoff, regular season and playoffs)? I'm guessing they are leaving Masters and Champs format with the same number of games, and I know they expanded the calendar to make it run through October but imo it's all meaningless if we have a very similar number of games. In reality it would be the same amount of Valorant with more breaks in between.

tbf if they had done 4 Bo3 matches today it would've ended at like 2 a.m. there, and I imagine they just wanted this little tournament to be a one weekend type of thing. Plus it's just for seeding, doing Bo3 matches for seeding games seems kinda unecessary
Yeah kinda pointless, but it's an off-season mixed tournament so games are just for funsies really so I don't mind the extra games. If they had gone for elimination matches today we only would've had 3 matches in the entire tournament
