however there are only 2 oce flair options to choose from, and both of them are very new orgs in the aussie scene ( one is literally a chinese org with aussie players) if riot wants to grow this scene they need to put some work into it, in my opinion they should remove oceania from the pacific league and just let them play in whatever league they want without having to be imports, given we speak english and are more similar to na and eu than most apac regions.

riot really needs to give us oce people something to look forwards too cause all we have now is autumn in the chinese league, not even in our 'own' league. this scene will die otherwise (it practically is dead already)

real, give us oce peeps a reason to want to be connected to the pacific league, an org/player/commentator or just anything, cause right now i feel way more connected to the chinese league

i have an aussie bias but i think fpx got better, and they beat Te last split. Fpx should be 3rd or even 2nd if nizhaoTZH doesnt gel well with the team

yeah tbh i dont understand the vision with this one, life is incredible but he plays pretty much the same roles as autumn, and autumn is probably better.
Perhaps they remove lysoar, give nizhao the permanent viper, let berlin play a secondary smoker or initiator, allow aaaay to play the initiator as well, and have one of them play sentinel and one of them play duelist, preferably life as a "alfajer" sentinel

im just going to say one thing, oce is a dead region and still clears sa. tixx and autumn carried god reign (gdr), emi (aussie gc player) carried orangutan x, and bonkers beat orangutan last year at ascension. bonkers this year is leagues better than last years one, so we'll see how well they do. the fact that they have a near 2 billion people (ind, pak, bang) to choose from and they cant beat a country with 25 million should speak volumes
plus we beat them in the world cup, so we clear them in all aspects

besides the original announcement of minimise returning to igl, and the formation of the team, not much news has been released on bonkers.
however, to all the australians and oce supporters of valorant, the team looks extremely promising. The oce scene right now is quite dead, the esl predator league which saw antic esports gain a spot in the esl league wasnt (in my opinion) a true representation of which team is the best, as it was decided by B01s.
the current bonkers team have signed - minimise (igl) - initiator
maple- duelist (weibo gaming)
tixx - smokes (gdr)
dragon - sentinel and gekko flex (but can flex onto most things)
and an unknown 5th player to fill whatever role they need - some names could be (swerl, lew, plixx, rdeew) - which will be announced tmr i assume
hopefully they get papasmurf back as the coach as well.
if this team works well together, they could be a serious 'underdog' for ascension, and could make a run for franchising

you can most definitely field 3-4 solid teams out that list with each team having one import of their choosing, its only a matter of if they do it or if they just become 2023 DFM

there is such a deep selection of high quality players to choose from, if half of the ascension players from (ase, nip, ra) don't get picked up and these teams maintain their current rosters, then they're actually trolling.
these 4 rosters need heavy upgrades, so moves better be made

or nova, all 3 of those teams need upgrades

On their roster they currently have a duelist (jaebin), a smokes player (nakji) and a sentinel player (wix)
They could keep nakji and wix, bring in king, zest and rb, and in my opinion dominate tier 2 Korea.
a potential roster could be

Nakji- smokes
zest - initiator
Wix - kj/cypher
k1ing- (igl) viper/flex
and Jaebin as the 6th.

I know this is extremely niche, but this roster in my opinion would tear through the Apac ascension.
