only prime yay's chamber was better than laz
no. It is absolutely terrible for the scene if these players stick around cuz it would hinder the success of Tier 1(some of them belong in Tier1) and appearance of new young talents that could be taking their spots.
he said if he's retiring he's retiring for good and have no plans to be streamer or coach and move to completely new path
From what it looks, the chances are pretty slim. But with right mental and momentum riddle might have chance. Believe
kinda crazy cuz he was retiring if it wasn't for riddle.
it is serious. You remember when Team SMG picked 4 duelist on GC? It"s kinda like that. They thought it was test. Lack of communication with the organizer
pretty sure riddle thought it was test like they usually do. IT happens time to time like how SMG did in GC masters
eh nah. Why would they bother when they can gain experience and fame and money in other region (Japan) and potentially go to tier 1. Like iZu (meteor, munchkin etc..)
Yess. I'm so glad that I was the 1% who believed in him. Although he would never go pro(no team would put him on roster) I'm still glad he's not a cheater
is the forest good? I played sons of the forest and I hated how I couldnt access some part of the map due to the seasonal change
Is TENNN back?
A bit of both. Unlucky that their tier2 talent declined offers from tier1 teams, but trolling in other aspect
Ok but Varrel's inability to win rounds with numbers advantage needs to be studied. Like how many rounds did they lose when they had more players. They lost close to 10 rounds or more.
Where is the source of the information? I highly doubt xq nor ate would be zetas coach. Since ate is huge junichi fan (owner of murash) and xq being a cc. Also zeta is most likely keeping their roster 5jp so yoshii and yota are not joining (they don't speak Japanese). I believe either caedye or aace is still 16/17 and not eligible to play next year.
nah, his igling is already very mid. Dont think he can coach. He better be fragger than anything
I will put this in simple terms. He is a good shooter, good enough for tier1. The reason why his kda and acs is bad is because of his positioning and ability usage. Valorant is tactical fps, with abilities and macro decisions. If you have poor positioning, and enemy properly uses ability, you die before you get too shoot. For example, Hiroronn often likes to play behind generator on ascent A site. However, if enemy team uses omen blind on generator, and duelists entries, he dies before he can shoot back. If he's on kj he can delay somewhat, to either reposition or wait for the blind to go off. He himself said he's lost playing initiator, and his teammates(dep) also said that hiroki has insane aim
If you watched zeta games, you know he shoots good, like his raw aim is good and he can play alone on site. But, he's just bad at initiator, like he's clueless about positioning, ability usage and teamworks. Popogachi on the other hand is not a site holding player. He's a typical initiator who's good at ability usage, shoots ok and is good at setups which is the opposite of hiroronn
bodyshot demon might be the best insult i've ever heard on this site.
eh hiroronn is ok. Like he's bad at initiator but he shoots well. Maybe role swap him to sentinel and he'll do better. He's good at site holding and sentinel fits his playstyle well. Laz on the otherhand sucks ass with kj so put him on initiator wouldn't be a terrible idea (and off igl as well)
even with 6 coaches/analysts they still lost to dfm. might as well fire all of them
Might as well bring back TENNN and Seoldam and coach Astell for 2021 Northeption
IIRC Aace just turned 16? or 17 so he's not old enough to play yet. Syota can play pretty much anything aside from omen (he hates omen for some reason), and I'm pretty sure xdll is better than muto in almost any scenario
Well Zeta definitely needs to figure out their macro side tho. With 6 coaches and analyst yet still bottom 4 or 5 teams. But If the entire JP scene tries to make a good team (I'm looking at you fennel players), I'm pretty sure they have enough to fill 2 teams with good players.
Oh I meant stage 3 challenger. but yea i remember them getting 2nd in lcq
This is so true. Like DFM has solid macro and shotcalling but atrocious fire power. Tier 2 JP players have that fire powers they need.
Would you believe that they used to be teammates and got 3rd in 2021
Just making sure, the relegated team(s) have direct ticket to the ascension tournaments where they compete against other CL teams who won their regions. If they do not reach top8 they are sent back to challengers league of the region they came from. Am I understanding this correctly?
Wait so if 2024 ascension team (let's say m80) places 10th in league, they are relegated in one year? Didn't riot say ascension teams are guaranteed to play 2 years? What if both ascension teams places well? What if G2 and M80 places first and second respectively? Would they relegate M80?
ur good. This is roster rule for the franchised teams so it's different from the challengers league. Riot should definitely unify the rules so all those imports problems doesn't occur. (i.e. in case teams with 2 imports like 2023 scarz wins ascension)
vct 2024 roster construction rules
Regional Representation.
"Each VCT Participating Team will be assigned
to a League. In order to encourage the training and development of players
in each League Territory and to maintain the regional identity of the VCT
Participating Teams that compete in a global competition and to encourage
the type of regional identification that is important to fans and sponsors,
each Team must maintain on the Starting Roster (as defined below), at all
times during the Season, at least four (4) Team Members who are
Residents (as defined below) of a country in the applicable League
Territory. The Leagues of the VCT are: (i) Americas, (ii) Europe, Middle
East and Africa (“EMEA”), (iii) Asia-Pacific (“Pacific”), and (iv) China.
The countries inside each of these geographic regions are a “League
Territory”."
It's funny cuz a lot of these teams used to have academy teams which they have stopped since it's more convenient to just get imports rather than developing their talents. Only very few teams now have academy teams to develop talents.
Tenzou is a really talented player and if he wasn't picked by scarz he would've gone to another team in vcj without a doubt. Also, I wouldn't mind scarz having bunch of "imports" so long as they could represent japan (since they are half). Plus seeing non-korean imports in this region is pretty fresh and nice to see. Riot could reduce the number of imports to 1, which in this case other teams are going to have to reduce the korean imports to 1 as well.
Loose regulation my ass yotaaa and yoshiii are half japanese. The eligibility is based on nationality and not whether they speak japanese or not. Both lumo and tixx have been playing at the bottom of tier 2 scene in asia (lumo in japan/china, tixx in india/oce). Also if they are tier 1 imports why are they not playing in franchised teams? You are just mad that fennel lost to scarz.
if you can't beat the team with bunch of tier2 imports in your own regional, then you are not winning ascension either.
Their coach thought they are TH and also got tennn for clout just to waste their career.
Fire the coach or disband the team. Send syota to franchised team.
AKame's 4k reminds me of Jremy's ace on haven
Ok but absol is absolutely insane.
eh I'm not sure about brian. Hals or clz or even kids from riddle are better.
Save thiefy please.
different day. they will do MRSH vs FL
Too easy for vorz
Dep said on stream that if zeta picks up duelist he's willing to switch role so syota on duelist would be more suitable (syota hates playing smoke too). Aace smoke and clz on flex might be the best roles.
