The skill ceiling in cs is still so high, everyday new young talent in cs is emerging, the game has been out for years and people are still learning to this day. Its just like chess there are so many possibilities. I'm really tired of the Val & cs community under mining each other. I play both games and am high rank in both the games are two different games the only thing similar is "Tactical FPS" the same goes of Val its lowkey an "old" game by industry standards being out for 4 years now, personally Val has been much easier for me and I can only credit that to my thousands of hours in cs.

Well a team from MYSG did win ascension last year and an Italian or Spanish team did not win ascensions last year. Safe to assume that MYSG is better. The > general assumption I can't even tell you how many italian or spanish players have made it to any major LAN event.

Does Premier ascension not work in EMEA, I get what you're saying but their cannot be so many regions and you expect things to be "competitive"
Having a large region like EMEA be spread out in t2 scene just causes less quality competition an inflation of players. Merging the regions will make it much more competitive now people know they have to fight for 1 of those 2 spots making them try even harder. didnt make it? well you just were not good enough.

I understand how frustrating it can be but the main motive behind it I believe would be to make it much more competitive. Lets be honest "t2" Italian scene is like ascendent ranked on NA. Not literally but the level of play just wont match up to t1. by merging the regions it allows only the most competitive and best players in t2 to shine through. I don't keep up much with t2 emea moves to t1, but obviously for NA we have T1 Rossy, and KC N4RRATE.

that's your opinion the same could be said about valorant especially if i have never played the game. again chess is also the oldest best strategical game in the world. which is extremely in depth and takes years or practice and dedication to be good at. The level of play is so much greater in CS what looks basic too is years & years of strats & counter strats. The game has heavily evolved over the years and is in my opinion much more competitive. The same reason why cs players don't understand/watch val is because of how confusing valorant is as a tactical fps and ultimately clutter/abilities there are. GE is just a little cringe. doing a "global" team. I just dislike not having a full indian team and giving indian talent a shot on the big stage. I don't care if they win or lose really I'm not indian but I would feel butt hurt too if the ONLY org from my country fields an entire roster of non native people. Wasnt RRQ trying to do something similar at start of franchising and they got so much hate from their indo community that they rolled back the roster changes.

If i was him and I wanted the best chance of winning any major than I would move to NA and join a team that real can be real competitive. I've always disliked how teams have different nationalities on rosters, sometimes language barriers or sometimes decade long historical beef.

cs2 is far from perfect FOR NOW, I played csgo on official release (Im old I know) but the same things were being said about csgo that is said about cs2. just give it a little time the game will feel great again.

I've always wanted to see relegation in tier 1, I think it makes it much more competitive and teams can actually fight for a spot with good players. Potentially bringing more stability to tier 2. Imagine a team like SEN,100t,Loud,Fnatic,PRX get relegated (Unlikely but not impossible) now they are forced to run the gauntlet through tier2 or.. just give up running their Valorant teams forever.

Under that logic should Brazil not be at the top. mibr & furia are just 2 or 3 BR teams in the league meaning they should have the best BR players and be doing extremely well. Here in NA I think its difficult for orgs to find good BR players since they are on the other hemisphere, no tier 2 BR player is gonna just move to NA with no team & work his way up to T1

i definitely doubted icy, his stats do make him seem like a great player he might not be the flashiest but hes young and is at his first major event. he has lots of potential. curious to see who he will play with the new duelist changes. i would also love to see g2 double duelist. always hated that teams dont use leaf as duelist the kid frags like crazy on jett hyper aggressive player.
