Huh? Optic clearly has an attack sided comp, so taking 6 on defense is pretty good. They should take this now no problem and I have no idea what you're talking about "cringey comp"

FACTS, and that's why they bother to negative your posts
Nah, they need to ditch Dapr too, he's washed
As an NA fan, no...
I'm not saying DRX takes the whole tournament. They have definitely had easy competition thus far. I can't wait to see DRX outside of groups.
I also think that will happen, but if NIP happen to win, I think they'll come in with their own stomp on a map. I don't think either team wins by a close margin (i.e. 13-10)
I think they are correlated, but hear me out. I think fast strats make it harder for teams to adapt. If a round lasts 30 seconds, it's hard to properly evaluate what happened and come up with a new strategy to counter. When teams play slower, it allows teams to evaluate plays and notice what position and strategy the opposing team used, and gives more time to think about new positions and counter plays.
If we don't agree, that's ok. I guess my thoughts will be shown after these maps are played.
definition of excuse: a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense.
Yes, facts are more often than not excuses............ that's the point.
Just because something is an excuse, doesn't mean it's not true. Common EMEA L.
Both teams are super aggressive, so I believe we'll see maps going 13-5, whether DRX wins it or NIP. Almost every round will be extremely quick strat + aim heavy.
Thoughts?
EMEA with the excuses zzzzzzzz
Possibly. Time will tell, but as of right now DRX were by far the most aggressive. There should be no dispute about that.
Will they keep it up? No idea.
TL went 11-13 on Icebox while Optic went 10-13. Guess they must be better. Let's see how they do on Ascent, the other map Optic played against them.
KEK wait...
I love when people speak too soon. Don't worry though, TL went 11-13 on Icebox while Optic went 10-13, so clearly they're soooooooo much better. Can't wait to see what Ascent brings, where Optic went 10-13.
You commented this twice in the same thread.
L
Are we going to pretend Korea (DRX) weren't by far the most aggressive so far?
DRX would hit sites within the first 5 seconds of the round
POV: the 2 best performing players on Fnatic were the 2 subs
There should be an all-stars international by region match. That'd be super fun to watch
but the 3 people who have been around are statistically the worst even though they should have the most chemistry and not overextend/feed
Derke and yay carrying the teams on their back. Hopefully Derke can do a bit more than yay was able to do for Optic
I agree with 2 stand-ins vs 1 being a bigger impact, but EMEA always call them Bronzil and now EMEA fans are eating their words.
Honestly, that sucks, but let's not forget that V1 played with a stand-in and still did pretty well. NA made no excuses, and wound up beating TL and CR, losing to NUTURN and Fnatic.
On top of this, let's not forget that EMEA constantly talks about how they're worlds ahead of every region, and constantly call BR "Bronzil".
According to EMEA coaches, meaning EMEA is blacklisting them? Toxic EMEA
Hell yeah! That's great to hear. I'm from NA, but I'd rather see the highest level of competition, even if it means EMEA winning.
There's a shift in support from NA fans, but not "diehard Sentinels fans". The term "diehard" insinuates that they will stick with Sentinels no matter what. That's what I'm getting at.
First, all this shows is that a team is dominating a region. That's why DRX and LOUD players as an example REALLY stand out statistically.
Second, I've seen some mention of Derke, but he got covid and can't make it now, right? Unfortunate, because statistically he was up there.
My guess if he gets kicked from 100T, is he takes a spring and/or summer break from gaming. Dude has been playing games non-stop for years and has built himself some wealth from competitive and streams.
I haven't seen it. Have people transitioned? Sure. Were they diehard Sentinels fans? Obviously not.
I hoped the best for the Sentinels/NA teams internationally, but I REALLY like The Guard. They remind me of C9 back when they became big in League of Legends out of nowhere and started dominating the scene.
As a professional player, no. As a content creator, yeah. I wonder if he'll stick with 100t for content creation, or move on.
Everyone who has been paying attention to the pro scene for a while should know, scrimbucks doesn't mean anything
Are you stupid? I explained why. To get into more detail with something I mentioned, Rugby used to be called "Rugby football" and Soccer used to be called "Soccer football". British invented these names, including Soccer in the first place, but later decided to trash it and just called it football. America kept the term Soccer. I don't know about the rest of the world, but I guess they followed the Brits because they're in Europe and it's the "origin" of the sport. (Although technically the origin is China, but that's another discussion)
Yeah, Trent > Saya tbh. Saya's issue right now is inconsistency, and honestly yay is a much better jett/chamber
True, probably not even Canada, or Mexico, or the other multiple other countries/territories in North America that isn't the United States. Too bad dude doesn't know his geography so he thinks North America is only The United States of America.
Basically, although the British still use some Imperial measurements, despite giving America crap about it. ex. They still use miles per hour on the road, pints for beer, etc.
Don't gotta be cringe about it.
The fact of the matter is, "football" was a term used for multiple sports when they were invented, including Rugby. The English actually created the term Soccer, but later went away from it while America adopted it and kept it. Just like the English creating the Imperial System and America adopted it and continues to use it, but again, we're not the ones to come up with it.
tldr: The English have invented many things that America adopted, but the English later reverted back and America didn't.
Your region can't stop making excuses. why is that such a common trait among you? Fnatic did great that tournament, so I don't know why that's such a bad thing. Fnatic dropped a map to Nuturn and the other maps were close. They also lost to KRU. Team Lulquid lost to Fnatic.
We get it, EMEA want excuses as to why they lost, so you're building up the hype now
As an NA fan, I wouldn't mind seeing BR's overhype turn out to be true. I heard too much hype previously so my expectations are low.
Plus, I think we can all agree that Everyone > EMEA
How can you say the man has fallen off? He diffs every single game. Optic get carried by this dude. Just take a look at his stats compared to anyone.
tldr: yay has basically the same stats as Derke (actually, much better stats), who gets mentioned a lot. He has Jett/Chamber diff'd every single person he goes against in NA. There's no way he has "fallen off"
edit: Oh, and some people are putting Sayaplayer above him, meanwhile yay diff'd him every game they played, even when The Guard won.
VALORANT Champions Tour posts a Top 5 plays of the day every so often, and DRX Rb gets it every time
DRX Rb 10000000%
Yeah, most are FA/LFT or his teammates, but kinda cringe. It's undeniable that he had the stream open. There's no good reason to "check" if someone's streaming when you're against them. Cringe response from the callout on Twitter and goes to show him and the rest of Ghost Gaming are trash. No wonder they're Tier 2 at best.
Ghost Gaming ain't pro. Tier 2 at best and I've never heard of Brawk, plus nobody watches Tier 2 scene, means nothing. Dude won't make it to the real pro scene and Ghost Gaming will likely drop him because he's useless. Trash player and doesn't deserve the respect of Cody. See, I know his real name is Cody and not Codey despite his stream name.
"Sheydos so good"
*Proceeds to int and lose the last round by making it a 4v5
Ska(doodle) was the awp, but the dude's mental died off. You can see it when he streamed, always looked mentally drained and upset at the world. I'm sure I'll get downvoted for those comments, but it's true.
Isn't this like saying Shahz lead Sentinels to win Iceland, so he's the GOAT? We all know he's not the best player or IGL, but he's not bad.
The only thing Ethan hasn't flexed to is a duelist, what are you talking about?
Honestly I don't know anything about bonecold, but if he was just dropped, why are people talking like he's the GOAT? I mean, he was benched for a reason, no?
