consider the worst-case scenario for the tier-2 scene next year: i.e. no promotion, no wildcard, no way to get to lans

would large prizepool i.e. 500k+ third-party tournaments keep the scene alive?

Really hope they include a couple wild cards slots for international events. They said the format is subject to change so people should really talk more about this

I think this is a must. The game and nature of valorant relies on new talent and underdogs. After fighting games cs and val have the best underdog stories.

Or they could do what league does and have academy teams for each of the T1 teams in their own league. Frankly a lot of people just dont care about t2 play. 99% of the time its just inferior gameplay and not as interesting unfortunately
