I think after what happened when NA fans overreacted on Scream's statement "Sentinels predictable" that NA fans for some reason heard like "NA predictable" no one(except G2 or FNC) really wants to be cocky in EMEA.
But its just trashtalk game to create some hype around match and get more viewers. idk who take it seriously. Just relax and talk some funny shit like "nah acend looks like most easisest enemy here, fast 2-0 for teamname " or "this group so bad we gonna end group stage without dropping a map. we gonna shit on everyone here". I think ardiis easily can make this kind of content :D
I don't think that ScreaM's comment matters at all. Its just that EMEA teams and players are cool with each other and don't want to trash talk each other even if its for entertainment. That's kind of how EU has always been in esports. They don't talk even close as much shit about each other than let's say NA. Because they don't care that much about content or possible interactions aka drama.
Also EU scene is just different than let's say NA. Bunch of people from different countries, cultures and languages. You want to build and keep good connections and networks to other players without risking it. NA players are kind of like buddies to each other, while EU players are kind of like coworkers to each other. Not exactly, but you get the idea.
