Korean bros, there were many orgs joining the scene for this year right? VCT KR in vlr shows only a few orgs and many probably orgless teams. Do you have any solid info about all the teams and orgs?

I think closed is made of 32 teams, with 24 qualifying through the open

So I’m assuming VS, DK, WGS, and GoNGo are all invited to the closed qualifier + 4 other teams

Juego, Straight warfare, spear gaming, warriors, next, corenine, wnf, maru gaming, esc, drx, damwon, goNgo, wgs are the professional orgs that I know. Veronica 7 team is only using the name, once they reach playoffs the org will give them contract.

GoNGo aswell. V7 is only borrowing the name, once they get good result -like going to main event- they are likely to get signed.

I say treat the rumors as just rumors. The rumors of Talon esports joining KR scene was never an idea when I asked Bail (head coach) about it. He said Talon has no interest in joining KR scene

Rio company is also there and they have moothie with locomotive as coach but idk much about their roster and also they don't seem to have registered for the VCT challengers 1

Most of the teams he listed are now confirmed, with a few exceptions

TNL are no longer a team because of financial issues and, if I were to guess, Rio are remaining an agency (Don’t quote me on this though cause I haven’t read much about them)
The LCK org was only a rumor, as Talon are now looking towards SEA instead, although the rumor could have applied to DRX too I guess
Lastly, I believe fiveK is signed to a new project, with the org not being revealed yet, while Persia’s org has also not been made public

To add on, they definitely have the funds to, due to investors/sponsors, but I don’t believe that they plan on returning to Valorant
