"Furthermore, Sinatraa's initial commitment to provide audio and video clips of the referenced incident was never fulfilled"
This line says it all
I used to watch him because of his gameplay, but his character always seemed off. I thought I missed him but after Riot's statement, I will try not to watch him. We are being so forgetful, these allegations are very serious and his behavior is so immature and unpleasant. I think people should avoid his stream and never let him be that popular ever again.
You should absolutely not wait on “law enforcement’s” decision on the matter. God fucking knows that American law enforcement is in NO position to tell you the proper way to feel. Also, the justice system makes rulings from an emotionless, legalistic standpoint. Nobody (except Sinatraa and Cleo) can tell you what happened. I would recommend that you go ahead and form your opinion (like racism, being “unbiased” always favors the oppressor). Then, keep your opinion respectful and largely to yourself, because it is just an opinion after all.
It reminds me of when I was a kid when I tried to twist the truth to reduce damage. I remember when some classmates were bullying me and I just started saying a bunch of nonsense to keep them away, I think he didn't have the full audio and video clip from the start, he just rushed it and said he had them to reduce damage...
would you watch a streamer who was the primary suspect for murdering his gf? or a streamer whose gf was bruised and accused him of beating her? or would you try to ignore those things, too?
notice i didn’t say “found guilty of murdering” or “proven to be a domestic abuser.” before somebody complains “these aren’t the same,” I tried to keep the situations as equal as possible
