Uhm no... If they lose now, they're going straight to the closed qualifiers of the second qualies
nah they dont vct fucked up 7th and 8th place at this qualifiers are out completely and need to get to open quals
But how does that make sense? They have to auto qualify than for open qualies cause otherwise it's giga unfair to those who finish 7-8th whichever teams they are...
yea it would be so dumb to have teams like g2 and bds out because open qualifiers dont have spots left
It doesn't really matter how big or small the teams are really.. These teams are at the time of the qualifiers being finished still in qualifiers 1... So can't blame them for not having signed up yet :/ So it's just unfair to have them completely out, that just is a busted system
from what ive heard even the teams that lost at the last stages of open qualifiers didn't get a spot because they were too late, hope they fix it somehow
Only 4 teams below 2 top teams in this Closed quali have slots in next closed quali
top 2 of closed quals stage 1 go to EMEA challengers, top 3-6 are invited to stage 2 closed quals, 7-8 have to play stage 2 open quals with all 256 teams.
I heard G2 were on the waiting list for stage 2 registration but idk what's happening now
I'm pretty sure it's Gozen who are on the Waiting list right? The womens team? I'm not sure what exactly happens with the waiting list stuff though
they were never able to qualify anyway

yeah but after a rebuild, lose the first 2 matches and be out of the first big tournament of the year is so sad
wait, what if they miss on qualifying for league style play for stage 1 and then proceed to not get first place on their respective vrl?
