Korean teams weakness

I've been watching competitive Valorant since the game was released, and I've seen most of the matches from Korean teams. It's always been a region I enjoy watching because they play a more pragmatic style of Valorant, focused on ability combos.

The problem is that they have a reputation as chokers because that's exactly what they are (except for Masters 2 last year). Every team gets big leads when playing in the playoffs, but their mental fortitude fails, and they throw the matches. Either that, or they enter the game completely in shock and get swept without putting up any resistance against their opponents.

Isn't it time for Korean teams to invest in an effective team of psychologists?
I remember Astralis in 2016–2017 went through this exact problem, and we all know the result of hiring a good psychologist.

I would be surprised if kr eSports org don't have the staffs for those things. Kr is like the country with most developed eSports scene. No way they don't have psychological staff. It would be crazy if they don't.

I don’t know anything about Korea culturally. But would I be wrong in assuming they’re a bit more rigid and unforgiving when it comes to mental? A bit more of like a “toughen up” vibe? To the point that their solution would be “stop throwing” rather than looking for real psychological support. This just me making assumptions but that’s the vibe I get.

My sister is a k-drama fan and she said to me that Koreans put too much pressure on themselves about succeed (in anything). They must overthink about the retaliation if they choke (againt) an advantage

AFAIK koreans arent big on psychologists, heard about some imports at LOL refusing to talk to the team psychologist for seeing it as a "weakness"
