True, which sucks for him just like it did for Rossy but considering the way the format is and how very little games teams can get if they arent competitive, I can kinda see why they didnt wanna risk it. Post kickoff is the only safe-ish time span to make changes since teams have plenty of time to practice before the season. Changing players after that gives team no chance to try things out without losing half (or even the entire) season if things end up not working out short term. I feel like these sorts of bad situations are obviously responsibility of management yet also incentivized by the bad format Valorant has.
Though I will say im not a fan how players were willing to try and work things out yet management just did what they thought was best and kicked him even though the team thought like it was fixable. Ig having a rough kickoff and not winning most scrims wasnt very convincing either
