VK are not obligued to keep up with everything going on in the esports scene of other regions, it's very much possible they didn't know about those rulings.. If something like that happened in a major event like Masters and they still did it then I would have blamed VK. And since according to reports stating that the exploit isn't even listed in the rule book, I think it was an unfair ruling from Riot.. If they can stop a game for 20 minutes for a skill jump then they could have done that yesterday too. Atleast be consistent with how you handle stuff.

every cypher in his right mind knows its a bug because he's the guy that placed it and knows that enemies cant shoot it. I do think the punishment in acted was harsh but the ruling was fair from riot but was poorly handled. Hence VK cypher should have known

What matters is "'official acknowledgement".. If something isn't in the exploit list of the OFFICIAL ruling you can't blame them. Just cz everyone knows theft is a crime doesn't mean you won't list it as a crime in the Constitution.

actually could you link me why it isn't an official acknowledgment cuz in this article it says at the end that https://valorantesports.com/news/competitive-ruling-vivo-keyd/ "Intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage is exploiting and is prohibited." which means the player knows bugs cant be exploited ans this cypher cam is clearly a bug. so i do think its a type of acknowledgment to cover all sorts of these bugs as in a general way

The cam was literally in the list of forbidden exploits that all players and coaches are given. This was confirmed by KRU's coach on twitter.

Of course they should have known because they were told explicitly that the camera was not allowed and yet they still used it

If you wanna talk about consistency, than Riot did the right thing... Giants and X10 also both got penalties for using this glitch, it's been a decently big talking point for a while... Blame Riot for not fixing this bug that's been known forever. Not for not being consistent

I was rooting for VK that match, but you know you dont need justice for intentional bug exploit, if this time rito lets this free, next match people gonna do the same thing, exploiting bug and asking for justice too

And i think fixing cypher camera glitch not that simple,
There are many cypher glitch cam, you can search it on youtube, but even an iron cypher main like me know using the glitch cam is a forbidden thing
