nahh see coaches pick player but the ppl who pick coaches are plats and golds so they can pick so BS ppl

coaches make strats with the IGL, coach their players to play a specific style, come up with unique comps etc. take geng for example, they had HSK coaching and they almost lost to true rippers in the off season. they brought solo as their head coach instead moving hsk to coach and went on to make 5 out of the 6 possible finals winning an international trophy as well
