I don't know what I need to upgrade so can you help me pls
Here's me specs
Ryzen 5 3600
Radeon RX 580
16GB RAM
if u have 2k budget just get a new pc atp. however u genuinely dont need 2k to spend on a pc, trust me its such a waste unless you want some gaming station to play triple A games at best quality
for val just get a decent cpu, i think the Ryzen 5 5600 is like the best price performance cpu for valorant right now and any medium range gpu will do. look benchmarks on youtube for val and the games u wanna play
you can get a good pc EASILY for way under 1k
Hello welikefortnite and valorant.
Though this may not be my thread, I would still be interested in what your wisdom.
I currently have a Ryzen 5 5600g, and I've been utilizing it's integrated graphics which has done me well so far. I can play most of the games I want just fine (fortnite, valorant (got banned 🤬 ), and other popular multiplayer games.) though, this is mainly due to the fact that I tend to veer towards games that i know i can run, perhaps it would be expanded by the fact that I can run greater games now
I do own a couple games that I can't run very well, but I may enjoy if the graphics were nicer. For example, red dead redemption 2 and persona 3 reload, overwatch 2 (...?). i was also interested in the resident evil series and the silent hill remake. I doubt my graphical needs would extend beyond games such as these. Greater graphics in other games would also be an added bonus of course.
I don't really have an exact budget but preferably less than $500 but even better if less and still manageable. will i even be able to get something better than the 5600g integrated graphics at this price point? i don't know much at all.
ALSO have another question if you don't mind. one of my friends has a computer but we are limited by the games we can play because he only has 250gb of storage 😭 how can he upgrade this? can he add onto his storage or does he have to replace it? does it depend on the other parts in his pc?
Considering ur second question: He can add more storage if he has another SATA cable (as strify #14 said) or if he doesnt any necessary personal data he would need later just buy a new storage, replace the storage and install windows on the new one (u need a usb stick to download windows installer onto). i advise you to research more about this on reddit etc because im not that of an expert when it comes to pcs
With 1k am5… even less 800-900
Ryzen 5 7600 or 7600x or 7500f (from Aliexpress)
20-30 bucks for a cpu cooler
B650 mobo - gamers nexus pick something form their recommendation that fits in ur budget; they’ve tested a tonne
Rx 6750xt or 7600xt or heck even an intel gpu
32 gb CL 30 ddr5 6000mhz (mts)
1tb ssd
650w psu
If you live close to a Microcenter go there, they usually have nice deals on cpu, ram, mobo bundles etc; u will find everything u need there
Ask questions about pc build stuff on Reddit… there are mutilple easy to find subs that will recommend stuff based on ur preferences like rgb, all white build, which gpus to consider based on what u intend to do etc
Look at yt videos; u can take the specs from a vid and look into min maxing it; Scattervolt makes vids like these (his website pcbuilds.gg also has spec guides etc)
r/Gamingpcbuildhelp and r/buildapc
The only thing I beg of u is please an AM5 cpu.

basically you're looking at shopping for a whole new pc. if you want to know what to get in that entirely new pc you should make a new post and tell the country you live in (purely for pricing and availability for parts) and what your budget is, and then anything else you want to add like if you play certain games or you use certain software for your job (IE video editing/modeling work)
I'm assuming you have a b450 motherboard
In that case best upgrade you can do first is get a 5700x3D it will easily make your fps 2x minimum
Then next upgrade you can do is get a used rtx3070 for pretty cheap.
If you're willing to spend more in that case switch to am5 motherboards and build a new PC
