You guys can see that no other player has so much expectations on him than Aspas.

Aspas breaks kill record on a single map reddit:

"Every 47 kills of Aspas was set by his team."

Aspas ends the game +12.

"Bad day by aspas this is not normal for him"

Ends the game -1 FK/FD and the whole community is calling him a baiter.

He is like Messi,CR7,Lebron if any of those players win a game with a "good" performance they will be clowned and get hate.

But you guys can see the same people that do this kind of post when their favorite player ends every 2-3 games negative, "ah thats okay we won so thats what matters, ah everyone can have a bad day it doesn't matter my GOAT ended 2/6 FK/FD he is still the GOAT".

Your GOAT can have a mediocre performance and that will be okay if he wins anyway, my GOAT will get clowned if he average +15.

We are not the same.

i was just thinking abt this.

aspas had maybe the worst op performance i have ever seen, i mean that with my heart. he had only 1 opener kill all series and only 2 first deaths, but he still managed to rake in kills.

if any other duelist plays that bad and misses that many op shots they will have terrible stats too. the thing is despite all that, aspas still was great with his rifle in late round situations.

he didnt really get value on op or as an entry, but he will never get fully shut down.

he had an off day with his op, a generationally bad off day, but he still played good in another way. theres no one this consistent in the world in finding value, the biggest reason i view him as one of the best ever. he isnt my goat, but hes top 3, very possibly top 1 someday

exactly, there are players this year that ended a series with a -22 and overall worse than that and they are still in the GOAT conversation because no one remembers it, Aspas don't have a -22 in his whole VCT career and the haters remember a +12 game as a "bad game" thats how different Aspas is.

well stats arent everything, aspas did play bad yesterday, but it is crazy how his worst games still ends up with him racking up kills and finding value in another way

i say aspas played bad because those openers and op shots wouldve been more impactful. still tho i dont mean to shit on his game because i do believe it was just an off day and he found value in other ways

Look at the FK/FD there was no one calling CNED a baiter but he managed to go -2 FK/FD while winning a map 13-1

aspas got clowned cause he lost, i get what you mean tho, youre saying aspas will get clowned whenever theres a way to make him look bad. whether when he loses or when he doesnt entry because you can never clown his k/d or rating (always so high)

i think aspas is a baiter not cause of his stats as much as watching him play, he has a baiter playstyle. its not bad tho and so have other great players. demon1 was a baiter too, i think baiting is, to an extent, beneficial
