Arguments for Tied Tournaments:

Reykjavik 2022 is tied. since EMEA best team couldn’t attend and 2nd best team had 2 subs + war affected everyone in EMEA. Also Americas excluding optic loud was so horrendous that I think it’s obvious EMEA was better but you can debate it. Remember that The Guard (3rd best AMER team) got same as TL (4th best EMEA team) with 7th-8th. Also Gambit (5th best) looked significantly better than C9 (4th best).

edit: Victor literally said in an interview that EMEA was better region during Reykjavik 2022 and I am still tying it.

No since they literally fucked emea by putting 2 of their teams in the same group when there were 4 groups and 4 emea teams

Also Americas got wayyyy more slots back then (5/10 in Reykjavik 2021 compared to 2/10 for emea, 6/16 Berlin compared to 4/16 for emea, 7/16 for champs 21 compared to 4/16 for emea)
