Why do some people like Mid?

Why do some dumb fuck frenzy onlys like to go Mid? even when it's a 4v5 and the Omen is afk. and me a shit viper doesn't know a orb lineup to block mid or even make a proper wall. I see it every time in Ascent, Breeze and sometimes Icebox. You aren't going to plant at mid then why go mid? u are attacking what if the opponent team has a operator? simple issues that can be solved by not going Mid because its useless. I deserve radiant but teammates dumb go mid me play kounter strik with smort teammates.
